In an Italian showdown, the final All Stars cook the meal of their lives to take home the title and prize. They’ll need to impress culinary superstars Mauro Colagreco, Clare Smyth, Marcus Samuelsson, Janice Wong, Tony Mantuano and Hunter Lewis.
The chefs are treated to a trip to Parma, the home of Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese and Prosciutto di Parma ham. After getting a tour of these exclusive products, they must feature these ingredients and serve to a table of 16 Michelin stars.
The final five travel to one of the top culinary destinations - Italy. First the chefs must make an apertivo for locals from the town of Lucca. Then, they hunt for the elusive white truffle which they must use in a dish for a Tuscan food festival.
Michael’s Santa Monica
Tom makes his final decision from Last Chance Kitchen. Then the chefs take off in a Quickfire with Padma and Jonathan Waxman. For their final challenge before jetting off to Italy, the chefs go to Michael’s Santa Monica.
Colossal Coliseum Kaiseki
Pastry chef Sherry Yard awaits the All Stars for a dreaded dessert Quickfire, where chefs must endure a blindfolded taste test to pick ingredients. Then Michelin-starred Niki and Carole Lidi-Nakayama demonstrate a traditional Japanese Kaiseki meal.
The chefs head to Summer Camp where they are challenged to a grilling Quickfire for Kelsey Barnard Clark. The chefs get to work on an upscale brunch buffet for 200 moms vacationing at the camp. Brooke Williamson guest judges.
