Katie Maloney Is Putting a Major Spin on the Traditional Bridal Bouquet
The #PumpRules SURver is taking a DIY approach to her wedding with a brooch bouquet.

Katie Maloney is about to tie the knot with her longtime love Tom Schwartz, and she has something unique up her sleeves for her upcoming nuptials. The Vanderpump Rules SURver is making a brooch bouquet — that is, a bouquet made out of brooches, which can also include flowers.
A brooch bouquet
Katie gave Bravotv.com an exclusive first look at the brooches that will adorn her bouquet, which were each collected from her bridal shower guests (clip above). These include a vivid, bejeweled brooch from her grandma, which Katie originally gifted to her, two pearl pendants connected with a silver chain from her boss Lisa Vanderpump, and a brooch in the shape of an alligator from Ariana Madix.
Katie was originally inspired to make her own brooch bouquet for the wedding after seeing photos of others' creations around the Internet and Pinterest. "And I thought it would be even special-er if it was something borrowed, something blue, all of that, if it was given to me by the women in my life who mean something," Katie said in the clip. "So, yeah, very sentimental. I'm deep and sh** like that."
Like Katie, you'll find plenty of examples of brooch bouquets around the Internet, as well as step-by-step instructions on how to make your own. The Knot has a particularly detailed yet easy-to-follow how-to. Here are a couple more lovely pics to help get your creative juices flowing now.
You can go monochrome or the above multicolor route with your brooch bouquet.
Use your brooch bouquet to add a pop of color to your wedding dress.
