Does Lala Kent Regret Anything About Her First Season of Vanderpump Rules?
The #PumpRules SURver looks back on her rookie year.
Lala Kent's Vanderpump Rules debut got everyone buzzing. From the moment she stepped on the scene, the SURvers all had an opinion of the model/hostess. And while she says there's "not a damn thing" she would change about Season 4, there is one moment that she thinks just might be define her run on the series thus far.
"It was definitely in Hawaii, when the whole taking my top off situation happened," she told Bravotv.com via email. "I've never been attacked like that by anyone let alone a group of people. After that it was time to show that I'm a gangster and coming at me like that isn't going to fly. I started taking names at that point, putting anybody on blast that had a problem. I had played nice, but there was no winning. So I changed the game."
Considering that she was the new girl at Lisa Vanderpump's Sexy Unique Restaurant, she wasn't exactly greeted with open arms (unless, of course, you count Jax Taylor's early flirtation with her). So any potential new SURvers, take note: Lala has some very important advice on how to navigate employee relations at the West Hollywood eatery. "Keep your guard up. Be nice, but keep the war paint handy," she advised.
Though she has learned a thing or two from Lisa herself. "There are too many things I love about her. She is a boss and keeps us all in line, but most importantly she has a kind heart and would do anything for anyone. She taught me how to stand up for myself but also taught me how to be vulnerable without being weak," Lala said. "That's a good lady right there."
Of course one of the biggest mysteries of Season 4 just might be the true nature of Lala's relationship with James Kennedy. Watch the duo spill all the tea, below.
