We Just Got a Peek at Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s Sports Bar: See Inside
The Vanderpump Rules alums celebrated the soft opening of their new venture in Studio City, California.
Earlier in August, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright, revealed on their podcast, When Reality Hits with Jax and Brittany, that they were getting into the bar business.
“I am opening a sports bar. It is going to be called Jax’s Studio City,” the Vanderpump Rules alum shared at the time. “We started construction on Monday and I am really excited. We are finally going to have a neighborhood sports bar.”
The Michigan native added: “I know in the past I said that owning a bar is basically a marriage killer, but the difference is [Brittany is] involved just as much as I am. My wife is involved just as much as I am. We have 100% say in what is going on, and she is doing the decorating.”
Recently, we got a peek inside and saw just how the couple is creating the bar/hangout space of their dreams.

On September 16, Tom Schwartz, who serves as junior partner of Tom Tom and co-owns Schwartz & Sandy’s with Tom Sandoval, showed his support for his pal with an adorable Instagram Story. “Congrats to the team,” Tom wrote over the snap of Jax celebrating the soft opening of his new business with his sister, Jenny, in tow.
Tom also wrote “For Ron” in the middle of the photo, a sweet message for the siblings’ father, Ronald Cauchi, who passed away in 2017.
Jax also reposted images from a friend who revealed some details of the interior, which evoked a cozy vibe with green banana-leaf wallpaper, dark brown woodwork, and of course, a fully stocked bar.
Additionally, Brittany shared a sweet snap with Jax, his sister, and a pal, showing off the stunning hot pink minidress she wore for the occasion.
Another Instagram Story from Ariana Madix’s brother, Jeremy Madix, showcased a sign teasing the bar’s forthcoming opening. We could also see a warm and inviting outdoor patio space that included plenty of string lights.
Moreover, Jax took to his Instagram Stories a day later to reveal an incredible “living wall” filled with a variety of flowers and greenery — a “vision” that came Brittany.
“I gotta say it came out beautifully,” Jax gushed, thanking both Brittany and his sister, Jenny, for their help with the setup.
There will be Mamaw’s Beer Cheese at Jax’s Studio City
In addition to the decor details, Jax and Brittany revealed on the aforementioned podcast episode that Brittany’s Mamaw’s Beer Cheese will be a fixture on the menu.
“What we are planning on doing is finally having Mamaw’s Beer Cheese on the menu so people can come and pick up their own little tub there,” Brittany shared, referring to the business venture that’s long been in the works.
She continued: “We couldn’t sell it here in California, but now that we have a kitchen, I am going to fly my [grandma] out and have her help with the menu so that it has a lot of Southern charm.”
