Katie Maloney-Schwartz Shows a Peek Inside Where She’s Living Now: “My New Little Space”
After moving out of the home she shared with Tom Schwartz, the Vanderpump Rules cast member showed the bedroom in her “cute” new apartment.
Days after Katie Maloney-Schwartz penned an emotional goodbye to the home she shared with Tom Schwartz, the Vanderpump Rules cast member shared a peek at her “new location.”
In a June 12 Instagram Story photo, Katie took a mirror selfie that showed off her outfit of the day — and the beautiful bedroom she was standing in. In addition to a white-framed mirror, the room was furnished with a wooden bed and colorful rug (which appear to be the same ones from her and Tom’s former bedroom). The photo also showed pretty pink pillows on her bed and a gray storage bench. The next day, she shared a "sneak peek" at her living room, including the couch, rug, and lighting.
Katie opened up about her “cute” new apartment on the June 10 episode of her Dear Media podcast, You're Gonna Love Me. “I’m really excited to just kind of make my own little space, my own little sanctuary,” she said. “I’ve been having fun sort of planning what I want it to look like, what I want the vibes to be. I’ve, like, bought some new furniture. I’m doing little DIY projects. It’s coming together.”
“Even though I’ve only been here for a couple [of] days, I’ve just kind of been grinding out, getting unpacked as quickly as humanly possible just to feel settled,” she continued. “I’m feeling already just a little bit at home, so that feels really nice. I’m excited to get decorating and feel like this is like my new little space and make it my own and have, you know, some new memories here.”
As Katie gets settled in the apartment, she shared that she plans to design it to create “Art Deco-y chic, colorful vibes.” Explaining that she wants “color” and “lots of plants” to help the home “feel relaxing,” Katie said, “I want it to feel fun but also peaceful.”
