Lala Kent Posts a "Thirst Trap" In Cut-Out Swimsuit Photo: "Mind Your Own"
The Vanderpump Rules cast member explained the sound logic behind her jaw-dropping snap.
Lala Kent is defending her right to the occasional "thirst trap." In a November 30 Instagram Story, the Vanderpump Rules cast member shared a photo of herself lounging in a cut-out swimsuit. In her caption, the podcast host explained exactly why she felt compelled to post the scorching pic.
"[My brother] Easton asked me, 'are you really taking a thirst trap right now?'" Lala began about the photo she posted. "I told him I'm a mother who wakes up at the crack of dawn, is a human napkin, [and] lives in sweatpants most of the time. Allow me this moment of indulgence, and mind your own."

Of course, this isn't the first time Lala has defended her right to a well-earned bikini pic.
Back in July, the entrepreneur shared a carousel of Instagram photos with the caption “Mom’s turn.”In the first photo posted over the summer, Lala’s little one, Ocean, and Scheana Shay’s daughter, Summer Moon, were looking through a backyard fence. In the next shot, Lala posed on the golf course in a cheeky black swimsuit, baring her backside to the camera and looking off in the distance. After receiving some criticism for the post, Lala took to Instagram Stories with a response.
“I’m so over the mom shaming from some of you women. I’m a parent, work full time, rarely have one moment for just me, and for a second on the 4th of July I felt hot and wanted a picture,” she began the Story, which also shared the original post. “Anything but praise is unwelcome. If you have anything negative to say go f-ck yourself. Leave me alone.”
Lala continued her statement by giving some clarification about the concept behind the two photos. “For the record, the kids weren’t watching me take this picture. And even if they were, we all have butts. Take time to love on yours.”

Well, several. months have passed, and Lala's still not backing down. Clearly, as evidenced by the more recent photo below, Lala isn't going to stop posting fabulous bikini photos anytime soon.
The photo showed Lala resting on a patterned beach towel, shading her eyes from the sun. The mama wore a sea-green swimsuit, golden hoop earrings, and a bright, orangey-red manicure on her long nails.
