Lala Kent Is All Sparkles in a Head-Turning Backless Minidress
The Vanderpump Rules cast member was glittering and glam in a striking purple dress.
In the clip above, Lala Kent takes BravoTV.com inside the closet of her former Bel Air home — and shares a surprising detail about her personal style. "This is where you'd think I would have the best time getting dressed, but unfortunately, I live in one drawer and one drawer only," she says. "That's the bra drawer. And then, I immediately go into my workout clothes. Most of these [fancy] clothes never get worn, because I like to be comfortable all day every day."
In short, the Vanderpump Rules beauty doesn't always dress up. But when she does, she goes all out. And if you need proof, look no further than a photo she recently posted, which shows her looking glittery and glam in an ultra-sparkly minidress.
Lala Kent's Purple Sequined Minidress
In the picture, Lala posed with her back to the camera before heading to Pump's closing party. Covered in purple sequins, her shimmering open-back minidress ($1,795) is by LaQuan Smith. It has a high neck, long sleeves, and a thigh-high hem.
The Utah native paired her dress with the Crystal Spiral Bag ($833) by Nué Studio. The round bag has a wristlet strap and a black tassel, and it's lined in beige suede and studded with silver rhinestones. Her danging silver earrings — which looked like teeny disco balls — matched her bag.
Lala also wore Amina Muaddi's Camelia Satin 105 Sling Heel ($1,190.) The shoes added yet more sparkle to her ensemble with crystal-embellished buckles. The makeup mogul capped her look off with a pinkish-nude lip, dewy cheeks, and an artfully undone top bun.
Lala's Most Memorable Minidress Moments
Lala is no stranger to minidresses, mind you. The podcast host has stunned in many thigh-skimming styles in the past, including the sheer black minidress that evoked a strong reaction from Andy Cohen.
"Lala, I am wildly attracted to you in that dress, I have to say," the Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen host told her when she appeared on his show wearing said dress.
Another memorable look from Lala's minidress archive is her pink plaid blazer dress, which she paired with a long-sleeved neon pink top. She rocked the style at New York Fashion Week in 2019. Years later, this plaid is still picture-perfect.
But Lala doesn't need a minidress to make a style statement. The queen of comfy chic can often be found in her own casual merchandise. Said merch includes the "Send it to Darell" hoodie that helped her buy a house in Palm Springs.
