Lisa Vanderpump & Ken Todd Celebrated Their 40th Anniversary with the Most Elegant Party

Whether it's a birthday, holiday, or anything in between, Lisa Vanderpump always celebrates the special moments in her life with an over-the-top party. So for her 40th wedding anniversary with husband Ken Todd, the Vanderpump Rules boss went all out on an especially lavish event. 

The celebration was a bittersweet moment for the couple. In an August 29 Instagram post, Lisa explained that although she and Ken were grieving the unexpected loss of their miniature horse Rosé, they ultimately made the decision to go through with the party. "We decided we couldn’t not celebrate 40 years of love. Thank you for all of your kind messages," she wrote. "Loved this magical, beautiful night with family and close friends!"

As Lisa noted in an Instagram photo one day prior, the occasion was the couple's "ruby wedding anniversary." With that in mind, everything from the decor to the cocktails followed a beautiful red color scheme. There were  hundreds of red roses, live music, a crystal-adorned red tablescape, dozens of glowing candles, customized menus, and stunning desserts.  

Lisa dazzled at the party in sparkling jewelry and a black lace dress with long sleeves. Ken, meanwhile, looked dapper in a black suit.
