Here’s What Lisa Vanderpump Thinks of Ariana Madix & Katie Maloney as Business Owners

As we know, Lisa Vanderpump doesn’t hold back when talking about the Vanderpump Rules cast members’ various ventures — especially when they involve the hospitality industry. However, when it comes to Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney opening their sandwich shop, Something About Her, Lisa has nothing but kind words to say about the duo. 

On the show’s March 22 episode, Katie and Ariana chatted with Lisa at Tom Tom and revealed they had put in an offer on a nearby location for their business. “S--t’s getting real!” Lisa exclaimed, before happily adding, “It’s only 100 yards down the road. You’re gonna be the neighbor. You’re still children to me!” In an interview, she gushed over the duo, declaring, “I love their energy and their ambition.”

Although the episode didn’t reveal whether Katie and Ariana’s offer was accepted, the midseason trailer above shows the pair sharing an exciting update. “We got the space!” they say in the clip, which gives a glimpse inside their future location. 

Although Lisa seems more than happy to offer Ariana and Katie advice as they work to open their business, she has no interest in being financially invested. On the March 8 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Lisa cleared up a misconception about her involvement in Something About Her. When Andy asked Lisa on behalf of a viewer at home “if you’re still planning on investing in Something About Her if you haven’t already,” Lisa declared, “I was never planning [on investing].” 

“I’m there to support them,” she continued. “I don’t want to be in business with every single person who works for me, but I’m there to support them.”
