Lisa Vanderpump Teases Her Holiday Decor and Defends Her Three Christmas Trees
The Vanderpump Rules boss provided a peek at her holiday decorating process: "Getting it done!"
When it comes to holiday decorations, Lisa Vanderpump isn't afraid to be hands-on.
Just days before December’s arrival, the Vanderpump Rules boss hit up Instagram to share a glimpse at her home’s Christmas decor. Lisa posted a video of her standing on a ladder while putting the final touches on a gorgeous Christmas tree, which was decorated with cute, sparkly, and pink ornaments (very on-brand).
The short clip showed Lisa rocking bright pink gloves as she held out her hands and caught multiple baubles before placing them on the branches.
“Getting it done!” she captioned the November 29 post, which was soundtracked by Brenda Lee’s holiday classic“Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.”
Although the Instagram garnered many compliments, one user expressed skepticism about Lisa’s decorating process: “Like you decorated your tree,” the individual wrote.
Lisa Vanderpump says she's a "control freak" when it comes to decorating
Lisa was quick to defend herself and revealed she had spent time decorating not one, not two, but three of her home’s Christmas trees.
“Duh yes… three of them… you have a problem with that?” The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills replied, before adding the “control freak” hashtag.
Lisa Vanderpump's Three Christmas Trees
Lisa dished on her multiple Christmas trees in a previous post on Very Vanderpump, a lifestyle blog she launched with her daughter, Pandora Vanderpump. The restauranteur said her “largest and most decadent tree” was placed in her home’s living room, as it was one of the few areas that could accommodate the tree's height.
“This is the sight that greets you as you walk through the glass doors into our home during the holidays,” she said about the main tree. “I love creating a show-stopping tree that the family can gather around during Christmas… I try not to go too girly with this one, as it’s in the center of the house, and pepper in dark purples and metallics to offset the pinks!”
The home’s second tree was described as having a rococo style with a vast array of pink and green ornaments. There were pastel florals, salmon-colored birds, sparkly reindeer, and dozens of glittery baubles.
“I love this tree as it is over-stuffed, decadent and dripping with femininity,” Lisa said. “I mixed pale gold and silver metallics with various shades of pink ornaments in velvet, feathers and different textures. Such an indulgent, beautiful tree!”
The third and final tree strayed from Lisa’s signature aesthetic, as it was mostly covered with blue ornaments.
“I love this pale blue and white tree,” she wrote about the tree, which was placed inside her kitchen. “It’s such a delicate, neutral color that is very soft and easy to be around in the most used room of the house!”
