Lala hasn't hesitated to share her growing baby bump with fans and followers, whether she's rocking a bikini by the water or simply posing pantless in her closet. But for her recent, ethereal maternity photoshoot, the Give Them Lala Beauty founder bared all in a jaw-dropping locale. In an exclusive interview with People Magazine, Lala and her team of glamorous creatives explained the inspiration for the nearly-naked pregnancy pics.

Set in Agoura Hills, Los Angeles, the maternity photos show Lala in all her glory wearing a handful of angelic robes and minimalist, tulle coverups that were anything but short on drama. Lala, a well-documented lover of over-the-top photo sessions, confessed that inspiration came from her latest binge-watching obsession: Bridgerton. "Originally it was going to be a studio shoot with avant-garde, heavy styling," explained Lala's longtime fashion stylist Alexandra Renee Scott, who was responsible for some of Lala's most memorable looks. "I secured original French vintage ribbons, which were used in the costume design."

But, things took a more minimal turn when the team, which included photographer Koury Angelo, hairstylist Ric Pipino and makeup artist Courtney Housner, set their sites on the picturesque landscape. "With the dramatic backdrop, the fire-burned trees, and the bright green grass…we had a beautiful metaphor: death and rebirth," Scott explained in the interview. "It couldn't be more poignant for this time we are living in."

Lala shared an angelic set of shots on Instagram on March 3 adding the simple, but impactful, caption: "mom."
