Raquel Leviss Debuts a Stunning New Short Haircut

Bye, bye, long locks: Raquel Leviss just made the big chop.

On April 27, the Vanderpump Rules SURver took to Instagram to debut a shocking new look. The former beauty queen ditched her long, golden blonde strands for a fresh choppy lob haircut courtesy of hairstylist Barbara Thompson. Raquel unveiled her new 'do with an impromptu photo shoot in which she donned a vintage Gucci T-shirt and light-wash jeans. 

In the caption, Raquel shared the story behind her big switch-up. The SURver revealed that growing up she had the "shortest bob" haircut, but when she got to high school she discovered hair extensions. She explained that her goal was to have the "longest thickest most beautiful hair ever." After achieving her dream strands, she was able to take a step back and "assess" her hair situation. "All of the sudden, I wanted short hair but was afraid to commit," she wrote. 

She continued, "Yesterday I made that commitment! I feel so refreshed and so grateful to have such an amazing hairstylist and friend by my side during my hair journey. So say hello to the fresh new cut!" 

The SURver ended her post with some advice: "If you’ve been thinking about making a big hair change for a while, I say do it."
