Get a Closer Look at Raquel Leviss' Stunning Engagement Ring from James Kennedy

The Vanderpump Rules cast members have some exciting news to celebrate: James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss are getting married! The couple confirmed their engagement on May 16 via Instagram.

James popped the question at the iconic Empire Polo Club in Coachella Valley with a dazzling sparkler to top it all off. BravoTV.com scored an exclusive close-up look at Raquel's new bling, and we must say that the DJ did a spectacular job. Raquel's show-stopping bauble features a sizable round-cut diamond on a dainty silver band.

Both Raquel and James were appropriately dressed for the Coachella-inspired occasion. Raquel was aglow in a long-sleeve boho floral dress, which she paired with a chic sun hat. She accessorized her desert-chic ensemble with glittering silver and gold bangles, gold rings, and of course, her new bauble. Meanwhile, James looked sharp in an eye-catching sequin bomber jacket, which he wore with a white T-shirt and jeans. (See the touching moments after the proposal in the Bravo Insider clip above.)

James and Raquel first started dating in 2016. Since then, the couple has shared their ups and downs with viewers on Vanderpump Rules. In a recent Bravo Insider interview, the couple opened up about how their bond grew even stronger in the last year. 

"I think that quarantine has challenged a lot of relationships and couples have made a lot of decisions whether to stay with their person," James said. "I've seen a lot of my friends breaking up with their girlfriends and vice versa. So I think me and Raquel, we've stayed strong. We've learned so much about each other, and we love each other more than ever before."

Raquel added, "Without the parties, without the TV shows, without everything that LA life has to offer… we still love hanging out with each other and being with each other every day."
