Scheana Shay and Lala Kent Left Us Speechless in Their Sparkly Red Carpet Looks (PICS)
The Vanderpump Rules cast members stunned while attending the 2023 Creative Arts Emmys.
Whether they’re attending charity events, movie premieres, or high-profile media dinners, the Vanderpump Rules cast consistently delivers amazing red-carpet looks. And the 2023 Creative Arts Emmys were no exception.
The two-day event concluded on Sunday, January 7, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, where some of entertainment's biggest names gathered to celebrate a year of small-screen achievements. Among the attendees were Scheana Shay and Lala Kent, who stunned — and literally shined — on the Emmy's red carpet.
Scheana Shay dazzles in sequins and feathers
Scheana showed up to the ceremony rocking a black sparkly gown from Ladivine by Cinderella Divine, an LA-based retailer that specializes in evening wear. The strapless piece was covered in black sequins and featured a sultry leg slit, a lace-up back closure, and a plume of feathers around the bust.
Scheana completed the look with elegant stud earrings, a pair of open-toed heels by D’Amelio Footwear, and an old Hollywood-inspired updo. She credited her glam to makeup artist Marine Muradyan.
The former SURver showed off the ensemble in a series of Instagram Stories, including one with her husband, Brock Davies.
“Did someone say Emmy?” she captioned the post, which showed her hubby in an all-black suit with pointed black boots.
Lala Kent hits the red carpet in a shimmery gown
Lala also brought some shimmer to the Creative Arts Emmys, as she stepped out in a plunging sequin tuxedo gown. The dark navy design featured long sleeves with dramatic lapels, a high leg slit, and a wrap closure. The head-turning gown was accessorized with small hoop earrings and a pair of sleek metallic pumps.
As for hair and makeup, Lala went for the effortlessly chic look, rocking a nude lip, a subtle smokey eye, and a middle-part 'do with loose waves.
Vanderpump Rules earns its first Emmy nominations
The Bravo moms also presented at the awards show along with their castmates Lisa Vanderpump, Tom Sandoval, and Tom Schwartz.
There’s no doubt that the Vanderpump Rules crew headed into the night with high hopes and a bit of nerves, as their highly successful Season 10 garnered the show's first-ever Emmy nominations. The series was up for two awards: Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program and Outstanding Picture Editing for an Unstructured Reality Program. Those categories were ultimately won by Welcome to Wrexham, a sports docu-series starring Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds.
Lisa Vanderpump reacts to Emmy nods
Lisa reacted to the Emmy nominations back in July, explaining why she believed the show was worthy of the prestigious honors.
“I’ve been talking to a lot of people on the Emmy nomination circuit and really acknowledging the crew, everybody, all the components that go into making a great reality show,” she told E! News. “Focusing on telling the true story, which is what we’ve always been able to do. That’s down to people being really honest with their lives, capturing it as it happens. Having a crew that has the empathy to move in between and capture these moments with sometimes can be really, really difficult and challenging emotionally.”
