Scheana Shay Just Dramatically Lightened Her Hair: See Her Gorgeous New Look
The Vanderpump Rules cast member is ready for spring with a lighter, brighter hair color.
Scheana Shay has traded in her signature chestnut-hued hair for a lighter look. The Vanderpump Rules cast member has been in the process of lightening her locks, and in an April 6 Instagram Story, she showed off the results. Her hair looks dramatically different — and strikingly gorgeous.
On April 2, Scheana teased her big beauty change for the first time. In an Instagram Story, the “Good as Gold” singer showed off her new golden-blonde highlights. “Phase 1 of lightening has begun,” she wrote, tagging hairstylist Erik Guitterez.
A few days later, she returned to Instagram to show off a new look that integrated even more hues. In the latest picture, Summer Moon’s mama wears her hair in shiny, voluminous waves. Her ombré hue features dark roots and streaks of honey blonde and rose gold throughout the lengths.
Scheana once again tagged her stylist in the snap, giving Guitterez credit for her striking new color. She also gave a shout-out to the rest of her glam squad. Makeup artist Marine Muradyan gave the Vanderpump Rules beauty a glossy coral lip, bronzed cheeks, and eyes dusted with gold shadow. Marine also styled Scheana’s hair for the pic.
And if you’re curious about Scheana’s beautifully fringed doe eyes, she spilled the tea on her lashes as well. The fluttery pair comes from Viva Verano Lashes, aka Scheana’s own line!
Scheana’s new ombré hue is a different look for her, but it’s not the first time she’s played with her style. In the past, the podcast host has experimented with everything from dusty pink highlights to long platinum locks. She has also changed up her length and once rocked a faux lob from hair master Julius Michael.
Back in August, she kept her signature brunette hue for her wedding to Brock Davies. Wearing her hair long, she slicked the sides behind her ears to give the style some 1960s flair.
And speaking of Brock — and hair — the New Zealand native just changed his own style by getting a major haircut. Brock took to Instagram to give the details of his cut, sharing an edited video of the experience on March 24.
“It Really Is All Happening…. Decided to change it up, what do you think?” he wrote. He added some pensive thoughts about his big transformation: “I wondered what kind of man I would be if I didn’t have a man bun,” he wrote.
