Scheana Shay Reveals One Thing She'll Never Stop Doing When She Becomes a Mom
"This is a part of how I function everyday," explained the Vanderpump Rules mom-to-be.
Since announcing the news that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Brock Davies, Scheana Shay has been an open book, sharing all the ways in which her life is changing in preparation for their baby girl. From changes in her body to the way she’s transforming her home, the Vanderpump Rules cast member has been happy to take her followers along on her pregnancy journey. Despite everything Scheana is switching up, there’s one thing the mom-to-be doesn’t plan on changing at all: her affinity for super long statement nails.
In an informative question and answer vlog she shot with Brock, Scheana replied to a follower who wanted to know, “What are you going to do without the nails when the baby is born?”
“The nails are staying,” Scheana confirmed, to which Brock asked, “Do nails stay on when you have a baby?”
“Yeah, have you seen the Kardashians?” Scheana replied, adding, “I think the nails will go shorter, maybe a slightly different shape, but the nails are staying on. And here's the thing...I just got a new set [of nails] and for maybe 24, 48 hours, I didn't have nails on. It feels like someone had just chopped off my fingertips. This is a part of how I function everyday. I honestly feel like I would struggle more changing a nappy without nails. But we’ll go a little shorter.”
Scheana shared her baby news with her followers in an October 28 Instagram post, in which she happily held up an ultrasound photo and a positive pregnancy test (with a stunning blush pink manicure, of course). Scheana is due in April.
