On this Season of Vanderpump Rules, Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval have been hard at work on their new bar, Schwartz & Sandy's. Although the best friends and business partners have a clear vision in mind for their latest venture, they haven't exactly been successful in communicating what that is to their loved ones.
Andy Cohen is among the people who are just a bit confused about what the bar will eventually look like. "Schwartz, I gotta admit, I was a little lost hearing the mission statement of your bar," Andy said on Part 1 of the show's Season 9 reunion. "Can you tell me in 10 seconds or less what the bar's gonna be?"
Although Schwartz went beyond his time limit, he did share some notable details: "It's a funky, vibrant, cozy dive lounge nestled under the Hollywood Hills in one of my favorite parts of Hollywood, Franklin Village... We're gonna have some playful, fresh cocktails."
As for when they're opening, Sandoval revealed, "We're looking at probably, I would say Spring 2022," and happily shared that they "currently are below budget."
Sandoval and Schwartz brought video video proof to the reunion to show their progress. In a short clip of the under-construction space, the duo showed a new entryway wall that "sets the tone," "lovely tile... that's going on the back bar," and revealed plans to create a "fiber optic starry night" setting.
"We are working on the project every single day. We love it," Sandoval said, before Schwartz added, "It's intense, though, and I kinda need a hug, but we love it."
