At well shy of a year old, Tom Tom has already been named the best bar in Southern California — and is regularly welcoming some of the biggest names in the game to mingle inside its swank West Hollywood environment. And with such swift success, do Tom Tom's players have another big announcement already?
The Daily Dish asked Tom if, given Tom Tom's success, he now feels like he's on a similar playing field with noted restaurant and bar mogul Lisa Vanderpump. In short, he said, "No — and I'm sure she would say the same thing."
And that's fair. "Obviously, she’s older than me, she’s had way more time to get to where she’s at, she’s very successful, her and Ken are obviously amazing business people [and] philanthropists," Tom said. "But I see myself on that route. I look up to them a lot and I would love to be where they’re at. So i’m continuing to move forward and we’ll probably have some more Tom Tom locations..."
Record scratch. Hold up. Do expand on that bombshell intel, Tom!
"Would you be leaving L.A....?" The Daily Dish pressed.
Yes, he said — and, "In fact, you’ll probably be hearing something soon about that…"
Tom added just this: "I'll give you a hint: You never forget where you came from. That’s all I’m gonna say."
We'll be waiting eagerly for more updates! (And at least we have Lisa Vanderpump's soon-to-open Vegas venue to keep us busy in the meanwhile.)
