How Did Lala Kent Party at Vanderpump Vegas Without Drinking?
Sober Vanderpump Rules pal Lala Kent handled Vanderpump Cocktail Garden's Las Vegas opening bash like a pro.
Lala Kent has successfully developed workarounds for moving through her jet-setting, party-hopping life — while remaining sober. And that means the Vanderpump Rules pal made it work flawlessly, even on a weekend trip to Las Vegas — known as one of the hard-drinking-est towns anywhere — and even when the main purpose of the visit was to party with pals in celebration of Lisa Vanderpump's big, pink opening weekend for her extravagant Vanderpump Cocktail Garden.
So how does one fete a cocktail garden without, you know, a cocktail? Well, The Feast caught up with Lala on the arrivals carpet on the big opening night, and asked her that very question.
"I pretend to drink," Lala said of her strategy in an environment where alcohol is being consumed. "I have a champagne flute full of sparkling water, and I have a short glass full of pineapple juice."
And if that feels like a concession, it definitely comes with its own built-in upside. "I have the best time ever," Lala told us of her mocktail approach. "And I wake up without a hangover!"
And that is a morning-after-Vegas mood that can't be beat.
