Do Meghan King Edmonds and Brittany Cartwright Have Dogs That Are Long Lost Twins: An Investigation

And, by investigation, we mean a buncha cute dog pictures.

By Stacy Lenz

We have noticed something spooky in the Bravo-verse lately. The dogs belonging to Brittany Cartwright and Meghan King Edwards look eerily similar and we think there is a conspiracy afoot. The two pups look absolutely identical and we aren’t alone in that thought either. In the biggest Vanderpump Rules-The Real Housewives of Orange County cross over Instagram event of the season, Meghan herself commented on a picture of Brittany posed with her dogs Monroe (the possible twin in question) and non-twin Kingsley saying "Give me all the Monroe's! I just showed my son her pic and he goes "But that IS Girly Girl!" and they’re not wrong either. Compare the photos below.

How to Watch

Watch Vanderpump Rules on Bravo Tuesdays at 8/7c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

So IS it Girly Girl? Is there some sort of name-changing, dog-sharing situation happening here? We are no strangers to dog sharing. It's a concept that was brought to our radar thanks to Carole Radziwill and her dog Baby ... and who does Carole share her dog with, well none other than RJ King, who just so happens to be Meghan King Edmonds' brother. Dun dun dunnnnn. Sadly this is not some sort of Illuminati conspiracy; they are two separate dogs, but adorably similar ones. Could they be twins? Or are they just two dogs that kind of look alike and we're making a big thing about it for no reason except as an excuse to look at cute dog pictures?

The Insta investigation:

Exhibit A:

Both Monroe and Girly Girl are social media stars with their own dedicated Instagram accounts, @spoiledmonroe and @therealgirlygirl.

Exhibit B:

Both puppers love life on the farm.

Exhibit C:

Both Monroe and Girly Girl have a penchant for pink and frequently wear their favorite color.

Exhibit D:

Both dogs fly the friendly skies.

By now you are probably thinking, listen these are two separate dogs, while both equal in cuteness and curly brown fur, they are not twins. While we must concede that these puppers probably aren’t twins, mainly because they are not the same age nor are they same breed, they are very identical. (Monroe is a micro mini poodle about a year and a half old and Girly Girl is a golden doodle that is almost two.) Think you can tell them apart though? See if you can below. (And no cheating by looking at the name on the Instagram post!)
