Following a Burglary, Is Kyle Richards Going to Leave Her New Home?
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom revealed all on Watch What Happens Live.
Kyle Richards and her husband Mauricio Umansky's home was broken into in December 2017 (shortly after they moved in!) while they were vacationing in Aspen, Colorado. After losing more than $1 million in personal items, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom admitted she considered moving out.
"There was one point after our house was burglarized that I thought, you know, I might have to sell my house," Kyle told Home & Design after the burglary. "But then I look at my dogs and see how much they love this house and I think, I could never leave. They’re so happy and it makes me so happy sitting out here in the morning having my coffee on the porch in my rocking chair, watching my dogs."
The couple purchased their 10,600 square-foot colonial style Encino estate, formerly occupied by Motown legend Smokey Robinson, for $8.2 million in 2017, according to HGTV.
After a caller asked if they were still thinking about leaving, Kyle reaffirmed their decision to stay on Thursday while in the Bravo Clubhouse with Lisa Rinna and Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
"It was the holidays and everything was looking so nice and so cozy and my family said we don't want to move, so right now we're there, but you never know," she said.
Lisa added that she had talked to their RHOBH alum Eileen Davidson, whose home was damaged in the Woolsey Fire, and she seemed to be in a good place despite what happened last year, with a film at the Las Vegas Film Festival.
"It looks like she's having a great time," Lisa said.
