Andy Cohen Shares a Look Inside His Holiday Celebrations at Home with Ben & Lucy
The WWHL host is showing sweet holiday moments with his kids in their NYC apartment.
In November, Andy Cohen opened up about his Hanukkah plans with his children, Ben and Lucy. "We will light the menorah together," he told E! News’ Carolina Bermudez. In an interview with Today, he shared, "We'll bake cookies, we light a lot of fires... I'm happy to say I have a wood-burning fireplace in New York City, and we light a lot of fires, and listen to Mariah Carey, light the menorah."
"We definitely are a big Hanukkah family, at least understanding what that is now," he continued. "And I just love that it's so festive."
Now that the December holiday season is upon us, Andy is documenting sweet moments from his celebrations with Ben and Lucy in their NYC apartment. On December 18, Andy shared a look at how the family spent the first night of Hanukkah. After lighting their menorah, Ben sat at the table with a pile of gelt as Andy and Lucy looked on. "Happy Hanukkah from my family to yours," he captioned the post.
Three days later, Andy revealed how his home is decorated for the season. "All Holidays represented here..." he captioned an Instagram Story photo that showed two twinkling Christmas trees. In addition to a flocked fir adorned with candy canes, there is another in his bedroom that is decorated with yellow lights.
In a recent interview with Romper, Andy explained how Ben and Lucy have changed the way he thinks about his apartment, particularly this time of year. “The kids make me feel different, about everything,” he said. “They've totally reframed my thought process on everything and they make me feel like my home is a home for the first time. I think my home used to be kind of a show place and a place that I could hang out, it was a place that I could entertain. But now, it truly is our home and especially at the holidays.”
