Andy Cohen Reveals How it Feels to Be Back at the Clubhouse After 7 Months at Home
The Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen host returned to the Clubhouse "for the first time since March" — here's how it went.
After seven months of filming Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen from his homes in NYC and the Hamptons, Andy Cohen has extremely strong feelings about being back in the Clubhouse. "Boy oh boy have I missed being in this seat!" Andy said on the show's October 11 episode, the first to take place in the Clubhouse since Andy began shooting the show in his NYC apartment due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
After declaring he was "absolutely thrilled to be back in the Clubhouse for the first time since March," Andy quipped, "I bet if these walls could talk, they'd say 'Where the f--k have you been?'"
Throughout the show, Andy took several moments to acknowledge how elated he felt to make his return. "Can you tell I'm happy to be back in this Clubhouse?" he asked virtual guests Wendy Osefo and Loni Love. "I am so happy right now."
However, there was one aspect of working from home that Andy will miss. "It's so weird doing the show in pants, by the way," he joked. "I hate it."
Prior to the episode, Andy opened up about heading back to his beloved workspace. “We feel so fortunate to have kept the show going remotely, but there’s no place like our Clubhouse," he said in a statement. "I cannot wait to come home to my tchotchkes and elbow my crew.”
While Andy had the coolest work-from-home setups in both NYC and the Hamptons, he was more than ready to get to work at the famed WWHL set, as seen in an October 11 Instagram post that he captioned, "Heading to the Clubhouse!! (I’m smiling under the mask!)"
