Andy Cohen Reveals What He Misses Most About Having an In-Studio WWHL Audience
After more than a year with a virtual audience, the Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen host is sharing his fondest memories of having people in the Clubhouse.
As Andy Cohen explained during a recent Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen episode, "It's been over a year since there's been an in-person audience in this Clubhouse" due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While the show has adapted by inviting a virtual audience to watch and participate each night, naturally, there are some notable differences for the host.
During the show's "Watch What Happens 5" segment, Andy revealed the number one thing that he misses about having an in-studio audience, recalling: "I never had to drink alone."
Andy also shared that "even though most people hate audience participation, I miss the days when I didn't have to shout out game titles by myself," as number 5 on his list. Coming in at number 4, Andy recalled, "Sharing the only bathroom on this floor with the audience and having them ask me for selfies while I'm peeing," before quipping, "Life is good for me."
"I miss the touching moments with the audience," he added as number 3. "No, really, someone literally reached out and smacked me in the face during our LA shows." Explaining that "our audience was so VIP," the number 2 thing that Andy misses about having a live audience is that "there were sometimes hidden celebrities peppered through the room."
Although Andy has missed his routine of drinking with the WWHL audience in person, he has certainly been enjoying his incredible bar setup at home, which he recently showed off in an Instagram Story.
