Andy Cohen Reveals He Hasn't Had a Drink on Watch What Happens Live in Months
The Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen host stopped drinking on his alcohol-friendly talk show, and has lost an impressive 12 pounds!
There's an open bar in the Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen Clubhouse, and the infamous Shotski is always nearby. Still, Andy Cohen has managed to avoid drinking during his talk-show tapings for the past several months — and he credits it all to a pesky monitor.
When chatting with Hoda Kotb on Today earlier this week, the Bravo exec said: "I'm a pretty tough critic of myself, and don't you find that seeing yourself in a monitor every day — doesn't that mess with your head sometimes? Because you're forced to look in the mirror a lot because there is a monitor under these cameras that we are looking at."
He continued: "So, this summer, I had a moment where I was like, I really felt like my suits were getting tight and it was beach season and I was wearing like button downs to the beach and I'm like, I'm not this guy."
In the name of making his suits fit a little better, the talk-show host stopped drinking during WWHL sometime in July. And since then, he's shed some weight. "I lost 12 pounds and I've just been really watching what I'm eating," he told Kotb.
While Andy's sticking to water for now, you can relive some of his tipsier times in the Clubhouse by watching the clip above.
