Oops! Karlie Kloss Baked Andy Cohen a Cake... But It Ended in a Major On-Air Fail (VIDEO)
The Project Runway host stayed up late to bake a cake for her fellow Saint Louis native — but it met a tragic fate.
Late-night baking is an excellent way to unwind. Kris Jenner knows this, and so does Karlie Kloss. The night before the supermodel appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen following the Project Runway Season 17 premiere, she made a major butter and sugar run.
On her Instagram Stories from March 13, the Saint Louis native announced: "It's 10:45 p.m., and what am I doing? Making gooey butter for my fellow Saint Louis-an [Andy Cohen] who, I think will appreciate this gooey butter."
In case you've never had the pleasure, Gooey Butter Cake is a classic Saint Louis treat that's everything it sounds like: sweet, gooey, and oozing with butter. We appreciate that just reading about it! So needless to say, When Karlie brought the sweet offering to Andy in Clubhouse, he appreciated that gooey butter, indeed. Except...
After tasting the dish, which Karlie made using her aunt Nancy's recipe, Andy placed it on a small side table then. And then — perhaps it was all that butter greasing its way — the cake toppled onto the ground. Watch the clip above to see the cake fail unfold, but it's not all bad: Karlie has a documented history of eating cake on the floor!
