As the World Health Organization continues to recommend wearing a face mask in any situation in which people cannot safely social distance to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), Bravolebs are finding plenty of ways to turn the safety practice into a full-on fashion statement.

How to Watch

Watch Below Deck on Bravo Mondays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

We’ve seen them rocking incredibly designed masks, like The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Kyle Richards fabulous fringe mask and The Real Housewives of Atlanta friend Marlo Hampton’s gold and purple sequined covering with a matching turban. Some Bravolebs have even created their own, from RHONY newbie Leah McSweeney creating a “resting bitch face” mask for her streetwear brand, Married to the Mob, to RHONY alum Jill Zarin and her daughter, Ally Shapiro, hand tie-dying them in a variety of colors. Kate Chastain is the latest to have an incredible mask moment, and it might just be the most over-the-top design we’ve seen yet.

In a July 11 Instagram post, the Below Deck alum shared a video in which she’s showing off her new extravagant pink satin mask. The piece featured a luxurious bejeweled hand with gorgeous red nails and some colorful rings, and also included a rhinestone trim along the edges. The mask is from a designer called Bloodlight and Bambi, and is currently available to pre-order on Etsy for $60.

“The rhinestones add an extra layer of protection,” Kate joked in the Instagram caption.

Shahs of Sunset cast member Mercedes “MJ” Javid commented on Kate’s post to let her know she definitely approves of the gorgeous design, writing, “Mask is the best.”
