For some it’s mid-August, but if you happen to be a mom, it’s back-to-school season. Prior to having kids, I was always irked by the big box retailers taunting me with fall ads for kid’s sneakers and binders. But now that I do have a little brood of my own—and I’m getting bombarded with PTA emails and school schedules—I realize that sadly, mid-August does equals back-to-school season. Which is a bummer because I love my loosey goosey summer schedule…but I’m also looking forward to putting those sweet, darling children of mine right back into the swing of school again in a few weeks. (Who’s with me? Anyone??)
