So, let's get back to that thing about Jared Leto looking fly this week. As we noted, the actor was in Milan to soak in some fashion shows. Oh, who are we kidding: he was there for Gucci, and Gucci alone.
Jared—who nabbed an Oscar for his breathtaking performance as a transgender woman in Dallas Buyer's Club— may be the perfect muse for Gucci's new(ish) creative director Alessandro Michele, who's all about gender-fluid fashion statements. (And embroidery. Lots of embroidery.)
This week, Alessandro designed a custom, powder-blue satin bomber jacket for the actor, who—in case you didn't know—has baby-blue eyes to match.
But this relationship is hardly a flash in the pan.
Back in May, Jared wore a custom white Gucci ensemble to the Met Gala.
And in February, Jared wore a Gucci tux with red piping (and a red flower) to the Oscars.
... along with Gucci's bejeweled velvet loafers.
He even brought Alessandro along as his date. Jared's stylist, Micaela Erlanger, once told Billboard: "The relationship between Jared and Gucci is a very natural and organic one. Jared has a sense of style that is very much complemented by Alessandro’s aesthetic." We can't wait to see what this designer-and-muse duo does next.
