Kate Upton's Style Evolution

One bombshell moment after the next.

Kate Upton recently celebrated her 24th birthday. And to mark her big day, the supermodel partied in (barely there) style.

But before she was "partying her pants off" in New York last week, Kate has grabbed headlines for a multitude of bombshell looks. (Wait, wasn't there a bikini in the mix?) Here's a look back at the birthday girl's style evolution.

2011: Game Day

Kate's endearingly goofy "Dougie" video helped her rise to fame. Who doesn't like a stone-cold fox with a sense of humor? The model's game-day look included a loose, flowing top and a short skirt, topped off with an asymmetrical jacket and gold-hoop earrings.

2012: Classic at Cannes

By 2012, the Michigan native was getting all dressed up for international appearances. At the Cannes Film Festival premiere of On the Road, she wore an off-the-shoulder, black gown that gave a peek of cleavage.

2012: Oscar Glam

Kate favors statement-making dresses in monochromatic hues, and this look for the Vanity Fair Oscar Party was no exception. She wore a floor-length red gown with glittering chandelier earrings, and her side-swept 'do was styled by Oribe.

2012: Old Hollywood

Kate's, er, assets were also on display at the Make Up Forever Beach Bunny Swimwear show. Pair a red lip with pinup-worthy looks—and a white dress—and we're getting some major Marilyn from this look.

2012: Material Girl

And, is it just us, or does Kate look just like Madonna circa Material Girl in this snap?

2013: Kentucky-Derby Chic

Okay, technically this was Kate's look for the Melbourne Cup. With shorter locks, a cleavage-bearing red dress, and a vintage-style fascinator, the model looked like a winner to us.

2013: Late Night Queen

This was also the year that Kate appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated wearing an Eskimo jacket—and little else. She promoted the in-demand issue on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, wearing a short dress with her signature style elements in check: a low neckline, a flashy monochromatic hue, and a major side part.

2014: White Hot

But just when we thought we had Kate's style pegged, she switched things up with a higher neckline and sweet ruffles. At the Daily Front Row's Fashion Media Awards, she wore this dainty Emilio Pucci look.

2014: Power Suit

Kate was also (relatively) buttoned up in a white suit at the Women in Leadership Awards, which honored Stella McCartney.

2015: It's All Black and White

Last year, Kate made several appearances in black-and-white looks. Here she is with Jessica Alba, at a Narciso Rodriguez fashion show. By this point, Kate was regularly changing up her look from figure-hugging gowns to wide-legged pants.

2015: Rock That Miniskirt

Kate paired a black miniskirt with a white blazer for an Express event that year.

2016: Sparkling At the Met Gala

At this year's Met Gala, Kate wore a glittering Topshop gown and carried a golden clutch.

But it was a certain accessory that really sparkled. Between her engagement to Justin Verlander and a very special birthday celebration, we're pretty sure Kate's b-day wishes are already coming true.
