Christian Siriano is 'Having a Moment'
The 'Project Runway' Season 4 winner will star in a one-hour special on Bravo.
March 3, 2010So I'm sitting watching Johnny Weir on Larry King Live the other night (duh.), and a question comes in asking Johnny what it's like to be so fierce. And my mind instantly jumped to images of Christian Siriano because he's become, well, synonymous with the word "fierce." But guess what? "Fierce" is so so last year (even Johnny alluded to that.) Instead, Christian prefers to "have a moment." And, well, he's having one on Bravo in a one-hour special entitled Christian Siriano: Having a Moment, Monday, April 5 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
And now I'm just going to steal straight from our press release because, honestly, I can't say it much better:
Bravo's Fan Favorite and Season 4 winner of Project Runway, has outlasted the typical 15 minutes of fame and Siriano’s fashions are now sold at some of the hottest department stores and boutiques in the world. In this special, we'll get to see a glimpse into the life of the mini-mogul – who immediately resonated with fans and fashionistas alike on Project Runway – as he prepares for fashion week, overseeing every aspect of his line from start-to-finish, model fittings, Emmy-dress appointments and balancing work and life with family, friends and work associates. It will all culminate in the highly pressure-filled buyer meetings where Siriano will learn whether all of his hard work will pay off.
Working alongside Siriano is a talented staff of characters including his assistant fashion designer and hometown friend Sam, first assistant Micole, Swedish assistant Ewa, hard-working assistant Melanie and interns galore. They all chip in as he calls the shots on who goes where, what gets made and who wears what. Life can get hectic with meetings, fittings and interactions with celebrities like Mena Suvari, Katrina Bowden and Tori Spelling. Luckily, with a lot of caffeine and the support of his boyfriend Brad, Siriano handles it all as he gears up for his third runway show. Watch a sneak peek of the special:

I agree with everyone else!!! That was NOT a one hour special that was one episode of a gold mine!!! Why is he not being followed by cameras all day every day? Please- we're giving you guys over at Bravo this one on a silver platter!

Please give him his own show. I cant stop getting enough of him. He is the best designer on Project Runway by far. I still cant believe he is only 21. He is going to be an icon in this generation. Get him while you can.

I am thoroughly disappointed this is not a series! I was ready to tune in Monday night for another installment. Very bummed out to learn this was just a one time special. Boooo, Bravo, boooo! Bring back Christian for more, please! Besides the Real Housewives, the current slate of Bravo shows is really lacking.

I LOVED you on Project Runway. You were the most talented and deserving winner of all time. I just watched an episode of Having a Moment and besides being one of the most talented designers I've ever seen (your collection is pure brilliance...beautiful...something any woman would dream of wearing)...you are also a lovely man. You are generous, kind, professional, understanding, funny, loving to your family, reasonable with your staff. In this world of shows that promote ridiculous, petty, backstabbing, spiritless, talentless divas.... it's nice to see a real man like you, Christian, being rewarded with success and recognition for your hard work, talent and for just being a great guy. Plus your adorable. Your boyfriend is a lucky man. ;-)
I totally thought this was a new series and was WAY bummed when I tried to watch/record tonight and couldn't find it anywhere!! :( please pick it up as a new series!!!! Christian please agree to a full season!!!!!

More Please. Just watched this show which I had in my DVR. I could very easily watch a full series of Christian and his fabulous fashion world.
Christian is a natural talent and a natural entertainer. I was in awe of his creations on Project Runway and now on line. He is the biggest talent to ever come off of a reality show. I wish him Andy Warhol sized success!

Christian is amazing. He is so enjoyable to watch. He will be known for decades for his designs. His personality is commendable, you can't help but like him. I wish him all the luck and happiness in the world. He deserves it.

I love Christian! He was my pick from day one on Season 4 of Project Runway (my favorite show!...actually, the only show I really ever watch!). My daughter (she's 11 and wants to be a fashion designer) and I watch this show together--(yes, I'm aware that it is late to keep her up on a school night, but it's her favorite and it's only once a week, not to mention a good mom and daughter thing so don't beat me up too badly about that please...ha!) I am so glad Christian is doing well and I can't wait to watch this special! Oh, and I don't care how 'last year' it has become to say 'fierce'...Christian will always be fierce in my book!
