I was surprised to land on this new show. my husband and i love the potential of a good wreck and have invested in a few, but in just 25 minutes of the first episode, i am mesmerized by cortney's instantaneous eye for what to keep, what to trash and what direction to go....rapidly. if i had large hunks of money i would hire them in a minute because of their artistic flair. the kids are beautiful and appeared to be very well behaved. i look forward to episode number 2....Thanks! and,by the way, smartsitting.com, for top quality college graduate babysitters-ask for dara, the opera singer!

I don't have a dime I live in houston and I have a home daycare .I wish you where like house makeover make a wish cause I would send in my application TODAY my house is 1600 sq feet and I can keep up to 12 kids we have no room .I love your style I will be watching but if you ever do a wish show PLEASE send me an email so I can enter.amen I'm praying at the same time.

I'd rather have a show about a daycare center than watch these children crawl all over everything. And by the way, they are not YOUNG or HIP.

I never watch reality TV, but this is interesting, most hipsters barely have talent to tie there shoes or lift a cig to there 100lb frame, anyone who who can make money create art, and at the same time raise 6 kids is alright by me

Hello mates! Just watching this sneak preview..........and I love it so far. They are really cool. I love that they are a family dealing with real life experiences in an urban setting, much like my own life as I commute between Lonon and Atlanta ( He works for Warner Music and I am a Personal Chef) at least once a month because my husband lives there and I here.....so this mimicks my CRAZY LIFE. I love their design looks....absolutely FAB. So this is right up my alley.......and I just love the kids!

Interesting show and great concept but does not seem to pay any respect for the design professionals out there...architects, engineers, contractors, are what make projects a reality for our patrons. While every creative home owner should be encouraged to take on their own projects...or in the case of this family "creative hipsters" with some cash to invest...we have licensed professionals to help clients create their vision...hopefully these guys are also utilizing our services even if it does not seem to be highlighted.

This show looks like a sure fire hit! I recently renovated the Stetson Mansion in Fl and I have an amazing amount of respect for people who take the plunge into a restoration/renovation project of this scope. Awesome family awesome workmanship! By the way..doesn't the dad look like Quentin Tarrantino and Mickey Dolenz?

Can't help but question the uh...perception(?)... of all these viewers who claim to have seen the one preview available and already love this show while also exclaiming how much they "...love the six kids..." when the # of children was not only mentioned more than once in the blurb above but also in the shows preview. Clearly the shows called "9 by design" for a reason, no?

So far all I see are a couble of self absorbed egomaniacs pretending to know design and construction principals. It may make good TV but the people (not the kids) are disgusting

This is why we have no room (seats) open in our schools. Its all about "me, me and me" Give me, give me now !

I love families that actually make life interesting. And I love how first and foremost they make life fun. Not at all too serious and such positive people!! Not fear based at all!! Just full of life! and making art along the way. How do people have a problem with that? :)

Great fun. Creative design. Who wouldn't want to have a lovely active family, work well with one's spouse and enjoy life???

As far as hipsters and age... who cares. Just labels. They are cool in my book. Individuality is a treat. I don't think their success or economic status is relevant either. Why should successful people be projected as "bad, greedy or fake"?

Jealous much....

Lets not take life so seriously and certainly not entertainment!

I love this show! I hope it comes back, I have been watching the same ones over and over. I love the kids and I think Cortney and Bob are really cool. I love their style of design and their life style is so... cool. I learned a lot about designing and took some of it to my home. Love You guys!
