I am a loyal top chef fan and a poor graduate student, and I have one question. What do you do with the cars at the end of the season. I think you guys should have some kind of giveaway for loyal fans. Starting with myself of course.

Agreed! I'd like to see them cook for my diet! I have IBS and can't eat wheat, dairy, most all meat, or fat over 4g. I do this EVERY DAY!!!

I love Top Chef Masters. I TiVo it and watch it twice since there is so much going on.
And I am looking forward to more Top Chef with Tom and Padma. I'm missing them on Top Chef Masters.

Thanks for a great show. Interesting that the mature chefs have prevailed in both TCM episodes to date. I was most interested in watching the molecular gastronomy chef - guess the judges comments have convinced me to check out the local "chemistry geeks" near Boulder.

I love Top Chef Masters almost as much as Top Chef. The show is a treat to see as the experts reveal how difficult it really is to be on spot with every meal. My only complaint would be the loud background music. It interferes with the dialog of the contestants. Please, please, turn it down!

Top Chef Masters…Wow definitely not what I was expecting. A good show and a good food go hand in hand…when all else fails go back to the basics. In this case go back to the original concept…this show blows…chunks of meat. I will find something else to fill this time slot. And will the real Padma stand up!

Masters not fun at all. Miss Padma & Tom...that was a great show. Masters dull.

Was the first episode a trial run and Padma and Tom will be back next week??? I sure hope so...it's jsut NOT the same.

I have to disagree - I really enjoy NOT having Tom and Padma on this series. Not so much Tom, but I was getting pretty tired of Padma.

I also liked the camaraderie between the chefs - they're mature! I wish though that all their recipes were posted - some looked really good.

Where's Tom? Did he bow out because these are his peers? Would have been cool to have Tom be one of the chefs competing!

Top Chef Masters had a much less competitive atmosphere than Top Chef, which was partly a good thing in that viewers could avoid cringing in pain at their favorite contestants elimination, but made it seem as though the chefs weren't as passionate about winning. However, it's wonderful to see that the prize money will be donated to a good cause.

Top Chef Masters is a special addition of Top Chef. I was concerned myself. A little research on the web and all worries are gone.

Really enjoyed the new show last night! Think you had four great chef's competing to kick it all off. Can't wait to see the rest.

How do i get the recipe for the cabbage soup, FROm Top Chef Masters

What a disapointment! What happened to Tom and Padma? What happened to judges table? What happened to getting to know the chef's and their dreams and motivations? What happened to the dorm were we could see the chef's inter acting? Top Chef Masters sucks.... I have watched every episode of every season.I will not be watching this year.
BRING BACK TOP CHEF!!!

I love the concept of the Masters but I really enjoyed getting to know the Chefs in the previous seasons and DEFINITELY not happy about Tom and Padma not hosting. Great idea with the food critics being judges but this elimination thing...not so much. I hope next week is alot better.

What happened to the quality of the "Top Chef" Brand?!? We have been obsessed Top Chef fans for years and were excited at the potential of a summer prelude offered by Top Chef Masters. We are horrified. The camera work, framing and exposure is terrible, at times the show literally looks shot by camera phone! Who is this new host?!? And most importantly WHERE IS TOM CALICIO!?!? I mean, yes, we see him in those way too closely framed commentary segments but, come on, this is a mockery of everything that makes Top Chef what it is.

Loved the 1st show. But how do I get a recipe for Hubert's Mac and Cheese? HELP!

While searching for gluten free recipes on the recipe finder page (you can click on dietary considerations), I found Hung's chicken wings. These contain teriayki sauce which contains soy sauce which is not gluten free. I know this probably isn't the spot for this, but I couldn't find the correct area. In the same vein, I think Top Chef should have a gluten free challenge!
