Madison Hildebrand: Why I'm Leaving 'MDLLA'

Exclusive: After six seasons, the original star explains what's next.

By Kevin O'Donnell

Ever since Bravo premiered Million Dollar Listing back in 2006, fans have come to know and love Madison Hildebrand for his sharp negotiating skills, amazing Malibu listings and plenty of high drama with his co-stars Josh Altman and Josh Flagg.

How to Watch

Catch up on Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles on Peacock or the Bravo App.

But after six seasons as a star of the show—and with Season 7 set to return on August 20th—Madison is ready to say goodbye.

"As an original cast member of Bravo's Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, I have made the decision to leave the show to focus on new and exciting endeavors," he tells the Dish exclusively. "Sharing my life, career, relationships and challenges over the past six years has been an unbelievable journey and I loved every minute of it."

Madison has indeed delivered memorable moments over the years, whether it was opening up about his romantic life to his up-and-down relationship with former assistant Heather Bilyeu to showing off his reign as the king of Malibu real estate.

Now that he's stepping away, he's giving his best to the new agents and the show: "I wish for the continued success for the franchise and want to thank my fans, Bravo and my family for all the support."

While Madison is departing, there is plenty of drama (and amazing real estate porn!) on the new season. This time around, Josh Altman and Josh Flagg will be joined by two new brokers. Watch a first look below and tune into the Season 7 premiere August 20 at 9p ET/PT.
