As NeNe Leakes nears the big day, she has been busy finalizing the ever-important guest list. Rosie O'Donnell, Tyler Perry, the casts of Glee and The New Normal have all made the cut.
But what about NeNe's ex-BFF Kim Zolciak? In this Bravotv.com exclusive, the bride has decided to put their past behind them and send an invite for her big day—and she calls to extend a peace offering.
"If you had asked me this a year ago, I probably would have said that Kim would never be at my wedding," NeNe tells Gregg Leakes. "But I just think that she should be invited. She’s just a part of so much history that has happened."
And Kim is excited to attend, too: "I’m definitely game for [the wedding] and I’m very, very happy for you. I really am."
So now the question is how long will these good feelings last? "Maybe we can find a way to stay on good terms," NeNe suggested to Kim. "I think that’s what we need to learn how to do."
Was it a good idea to invite Kim to the wedding? How long do you think their truce will last? Let us know in the comments.
Kim should've never talked to you again...you were nasty almost physical towards her! And this wedding, what a joke, how long were you divorced, a split second ? You only got divorced so you can plan this Bravo wedding. You still reminded me of a pitbull in a wedding dress. What's next..a pregnancy so you can stay relevant?
Glad to see them mend fences because they were very close and had a lot of good times together.
Good luck to Ne Ne, although I feel the "invite" to Kim was for TV ratings. There has been so much ranting, it has been uncomfortable to watch. I have not seen the last episode yet. I'm in LA and it will be aired later this evening. I will be glad to see it end and hope it is not repeated on Bravo. There are too many other reality shows, i.e. Million Dollar Listing LA (THE BEST) that are more pleasant to watch!!
Very happy. This was always a friendship worth saving, and even though it got ugly at times, it's important to remember that everyone has a problem or a hiccup now and again in their relationships, whether it be with family, friends or a spouse, and those situations can also get ugly. But one thing that's true is that any relationship worth saving can and WILL ultimately be saved. I think your relationship is one of them.
Of course, your lives are very different now: Kim is mom to a virtual Bierman day camp, and I can't imagine her having much time for anything, and you are embarking on a whole new adventure, free to do many new and wonderful things with Gregg, so you are definitely in two different stages of your lives, but it's good that you made peace. Very good, because even if you only get to talk once in a while, I am sure you will both be very happy to have that back. :) So,.... FINALLY! It's about time! Good Job!
Can't understand why NeNe can be so forgiving to Kim, and yet can't forgive Sheree. Sheree did not do anything worse than Kim........I like Sheree, wish she and NeNe could make amends.
let bygones be bygones they are so much alike I think it is a good move to let go of the past
