Supposedly Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson's marriage is on the rocks. Well, what do I do when one of my favorite (OK -- maybe not FAVORITE) celebrity couples is in peril? I call up Patti Stanger for some sage advice, and she delivered. The Millionaire Matchmaker offers her advice on Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson's situation. She said:
Anybody that has a baby or gets pregnant prior to the marriage is going to have some rocky problems in a relationship. In a perfect world, most people preplan their pregnancies and have enough time in the newlywed period for the dough to rise. Magnify them by being in the spotlight and that gives them a whole world of issues the average person doesn’t have to deal with. If they focus on their beautiful child they created together they will realize how much they have and won’t want to lose it.
Um, Patti, I have something to tell you. I'm, er, pregnant. And unwed. I kid. I kid. (Seriously, dad, I'm kidding!!!)

I would like to participate in the millionare matchmaker show although I do not live in Cal. Is there a possibility for enrollment and if so where? Please email me and let me know Thank you for your time
Patti, I love your show!! You crack me up telling those millionares what to do and how to do it. Your the greatest. You like just like someone I know her in my home town and her name is also Patti... I can't wait to buy your book!! Have a wonderful day and look forward to the next show...
Patty - So far I've seen you present 2 girls as millionaire-worthy who have been on reality shows. Cara (3/26/2009) was on the show "Momma's Boys". She seemed to be even more ditzier and annoyingly empty-headed in a not even close to cute way. She was kicked off quick! And Dallas a few weeks ago. She was looking to get lucky with Brett Michael. She tried so hard to not show what a trashy, ghetto, personality-less, wig-wearing skank she really is. I don't believe these 2 girls represent the class of females you have in your data-base. You are an awesome, smart woman. Watch the shows these bimbos were on. And hire someone to weed out some of the trashy gold-diggers. It's embarressing! A "takes one to know one" type could really earn her paycheck!!
Seriously you were SO great with that snot from MN. It gives all of us wonderful people here a really bad name. If she finds true love, I will be totally surprised. I think she had a plan to try and make you look stupid, too bad it backfired on her and made her look so horrible! Can't wait to read your book, you are the best!
Patti, I got hooked on your show. I can relate to what you tell the guys in their forty's that still want a twenty something girl. I am a 60 year old woman that can still pass for 10 years younger, but I have become invisible to guys my age. I have not had a date in 10 years and as a woman that used to beat them off when I was younger, it has taken a major toll on my self esteem. Older men need to realize that young girls do not have the experience or staying power to put up with men looking to regain their youth. I now understand why men have heart attacks before women. Too bad they don't realize the price of trying to keep up.
simply.. patty.. you bloody rock!! i rarely if ever follow a show but lady, you have me hooked, i cant tell you how many people i run into that also watch your show, its a great conversation starter.. keep it up patty, you are a winner through and through!!
a big fan! mark
I have had more failed relationships then most people, watch patti and the dude on tough love..I am piecing together why...it was me...and at nearly 50 it's never too late to change...the coaching that you do is amazing. I agree that the millionairs should be following a matchmakers advice, for one huge reason: if they didn't need the service, why are they contacting you? they need you and they need shut the mouth and just do do and do...chicklet you and crew are something, woman and men all over should be taking note. ciao for now
