Mark it on your calendars. In Baton Rouge, July 12, 2014 belongs to Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams.

Porsha was named the Honorary Mayor President of the city and a ceremony was held in her honor over the weekend. She took fans inside the big day through her social media account, posting pictures and video from the big event on Instagram.

"Yesterday was amazing...Thank You Baton Rouge for Officially naming July 12th PORSHA WILLIAMS DAY! I appreciate Mayor Holden for making me Honorary Mayor President in the City of Baton Rouge Parish of East Baton Rouge!! #PorshaWilliamsDay," she wrote on Sunday (July 13).

And what was Porsha's first order of business as the Honorary Mayor President of Baton Rouge? "Free bundles for everybody," she declared from the stage, giving the crowd a reason to cheer about hair extensions.

In addition to the ceremony and attending the Baton Rouge Battle of the Bands, she was also presented with certificates and a trophy. She added, "Thank you Baton Rouge I'm so grateful I wasn't expecting this...What an honor!! #HonoraryMayorOfBatonRouge #July12PorshaWilliamsDay."
