It was all about Vicki’s remarks to Slade at Tamra’s rocking '80s party in your Real Housewives of Orange County comments this week. 'Wives club members sent us their thoughts throughout the episode, and the trend focused most on picking sides: Slade’s or Vicki’s?
Despite Slade’s remarks at the comedy show, many fans switched forces and offered him support, texting:
“How can Vicki dish it out but not be able to take it?”
“Vicki has always been a bully, so what goes around, comes around.”
Beyond having differences throughout the seasons, many felt that Vicki should not judge Slade due to boyfriend Brookes’ similar alleged legal issues, texting:
“Vicki is being hypocritical by dating Brookes and then bashing Slade for being behind on his child support, too.”
“Gretchen is right to call out Vicki. She is being hypocritical!”
But who was really to blame? Many wondered why Slade was even invited to the party, texting:
“Tamra is a pot stirrer!”
In the end… we conclude with one last notable 'Wives club member, texting:
“Saying someone looks like Miss. Piggy is a compliment. She was my favorite Muppet”
As we saw on Watch What Happens: Live, it seems Miss Piggy agrees!

Vicki yelling at Gretchen that she was not a mother was cruel! Gretchen has said she wants kids. It was really disturbing to see Vicki go after Gretchen like that; she showed her ugliness. I understood Gretchen's frustration. Vicki is a hypocrite--she is dating a man that did not pay his child support. It doesn't matter that he may be caught up, at one time he was jailed for failing to pay child support to two different mothers. Yikes! (I would be running for the hills.)
I miss Donn too! I hope he finds someone who really appreciates him!
If Tamara were really a true friend, she would have pulled Vicki aside ealier and let her know that the men were coming and that Slade would be there, too. That way Vicki would have had a choice of whether to leave early, instead of being ambushed out of nowhere.
Tamara wants to appear 'neutral', while she is the person who pulls the pin out of the grenade, tosses it in the hole and then sits back and watches the explosion!
