Braunwyn Windham-Burke is clearing the air about some comments she recently made about her husband, Sean Burke.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on  Peacock and the Bravo App.

During the January 13 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Andy asked The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member, “In a recent online Q&A, you said that you would be heartbroken if Sean started to see other people, a sentiment that people found quite hypocritical—“

“Well, no. the question was if he fell in love and started a new life with someone. Not if he dated. If he dates someone, I’m fine with it. If he falls in love and starts a new life and gets married, yeah, I would definitely be heartbroken,” Braunwyn explained in the video above. “We’ve been together for almost 26 years, since we were teenagers. And yeah, he’s my family. Not to say I don’t want him happy and I don’t support him. I do.”

Braunwyn — who has recently shared that she has a girlfriend named Kris — also elaborated on her comment in an interview with Us Weekly. “Dating someone and falling in love and starting a life are two very different things. If Sean dated someone, that’s great. I support that. I think he should be.” In the interview, she also added that though her husband has dated other people since she came out in December, there has been “nothing serious.”

The mom of seven addressed her vow renewal on WWHL, as well.

“When we had our vow renewal, we hadn’t be quarantined yet, so all of those feelings I had for a certain person this season happened during quarantine. I still love my husband. We’re still living in the same house. We’re still married. We’re working on staying married,” she said. “It’s not traditional, but it’s working for us right now. Hopefully if we’re together in 10 years, I’ll do it every 10 years. That’s what we promised ourselves, and every 10 years we’ll do it.”

WWHL viewer also submitted a question, asking for Braunwyn's opinion on, "Elizabeth [Lyn Vargas] recently saying that you and Sean aren't divorcing because you have dirt on each other."

“We’ve been together for almost 26 years so I think it’s sad to say that we have dirt on each other," Braunwyn replied. "I mean, we know everything about each other. No, we’re together because we love our kids, we want to keep our family in tact, so we’re going to try. We’re together because we choose to be."
