Yaaassss CinnamonGirlDiet is almost here! It feels so good to see a project, that my husband and I developed come into fruition. We are both so passionate about Cinnamon Girl Diet and nutrition, because we have both lost loved ones to illnesses directly linked to obesity.
I prematurely lost my grandmother and two of my maternal aunts to heart disease and diabetes. My lost heightened my concerns with my health as well as the desire to aid in fighting obesity in many communities that need it most! Health problems affecting minorities are a grave concern, not only for the Huqs, but for the country as a whole. There is no magic pill or potion that will change that, but we believe giving people safe, delicous, effective, and convenient options will jump start their journey to a healthier lifestyle. So I'm excited about our launch next week, and truly looking forward to seeing the difference it will make.
I was just as excited, previewing Lisa Nicole's fashion show. Congrats Lisa! I love to see all of us speak it, believe it and achieve it. The show looked amazing and Top Model Kursten, slayed the runway, legs, face, and fierceness.
I decided to extend the olive branch and invite all the ladies to our CinnamonGirlDiet launch party because it's the right thing to do. I can rest knowing I've did my part. Personally delivering a few of the invitations was a lot of fun, and a great opportunity to talk face-to-face with the ladies.
I was elated to see Simone. We have tons of fun, and lots of laughs every time we are together. I felt better after sharing my feelings on her "voting" with the pack. I'm glad she eventually went against the grain and followed her heart. It requires much more courage to walk alone than to follow the crowd.
I'm looking forward to seeing her at my launch next week. Regardless of who else will be in attendance, Aydin and I know we can count on Cecil and Simone to be there.
