Focused

Josh talks about his mysterious "illness" and his stressful negotiation scene!

November 16, 2009

So I guess I should have listened to my mother. No tumor after all! Thank God! I guess I will be taking those damn pills again. I guess it isn't so bad. It helps me focus, so it can't be too awful.

How about that Collingwood listing? Pretty fast negotiation, eh? That is one special property with one hell of a view, and boy isn't my parents' dog Penny just the cutest? Pretty cute, but not as cute as my dog Godzilla. That negotiation scene had me on the edge of my seat!

I am sitting in the living room of my room in New York right now, looking out over Central Park. I am on the 52nd floor and boy is it gorgeous up here. I am here with Colton and my business partner Brendan. Signing out for now.

PS - Everyone should check out my newly published book A Simple Girl: Stories my Grandmother Told Me. You speak your mind. Don't stop

Josh!
Oh my goodness, do you know just how naturally sexy you are. Especially the scenes of you laying around leisurely with that devilish imagination running rampant as your eyes focus on the day at hand. Your impish ways are so endearing.

Josh,
You are an amazing business person. After seeing you on tv I've been inspired. If you get this message would you respond, I Have a business proposal for you and I think you would agree, theirs people to satisfy and money to be made.
To a prosperous new year,

Sincerely Yours,
Levi Wiles

Josh,
I was lucky enough the other day to fall into a season 3 marathon and when I saw the last one with your grandmother I cried! It took my breath away and even though it was on TV it really brought home the whole holocaust.

You are so much more than Chad could ever be and I think he is only on there because he is soooo annoying. He will never be a brand!

Hi Josh, What a great season! I thoroughly enjoyed each episode more than once. I am a realtor as well with the same issues of focus at times. I think it's just stress of the job. I've developed mantras to keep me focused everyday like positive suggestions to my subconscious which really work provided I get proper rest. I agree with the rest of the fans who prefer you don't need meds.
Chad takes himself too seriously at times. Trying to communicate with him may take a while although you're likely not going there sort of witless if you get me.
Your grandmother is your treasure. What a profound woman she knew she deserved a book about her LOL! How cute she is. I also work in the medical field with the elderly and they have so much knowledge of life to offer. Too bad many of them are so isolated.
Keep your life going in this stable direction and don't get involved with the wrong women, ask grandma first.

Hi Josh

You are a successful smart young man. No offence to your mom, I know she means well, but I do not agree with her that you need drugs. I would suggest googleing any drug you are considering for side effects. Just because something is a prescription does not mean that it won't negatively affect your body or that it is healthy, especially with continued use. Drugs for ADD, anxiety and depression are designed to alter brain chemistry by stimulating the brain or putting it to sleep, they don’t cure anything and they can also create a physical dependency and withdrawal; sometimes with only short term use. Your neurologist saw nothing physically wrong with you and said you are healthy and just under stress. I agree with him about talk therapy, it is a better option then drugs. We live in a prescription pill culture but the side effects are often minimized.

U crack me up, josh! I was just watching the scene where u were trying to smash the champagne bottle to close an amazing deal. All the best to u. U r definitely my fave!

Josh, I like the way you think outside the box. Such as when you suggested that the owner carry back a million $ loan so the buyer could afford to build on that lot with the falling down house. I just have one question: The way you smile when thinking about Faye, makes me wonder! Love your attitude; it's confident and professional when doing deals, but Bravo dis a great jog of also showing your humility in your private reflections. Looking forward to next season!

JOSH.....(About forgetting your party) Have you ever considered that you might be allergic to something that made you forget? I did some muscle testing (Applied Kinesiology used in Alternative Health), and it shows that you are allergic to something you came in contact with prior to the party! It's worth looking into.....!! It could be anything from a pair of shoes to new clothes to a hat to new cosmetic products/shampoos to eye glasses, a new chair, something in your Grandmother's house, bottles of alcohol, etc. We all have a sensitive area....some people have stomach problems, some lungs/respiratory, and in your case.....the brain. Forgetting is often do to allergy!! I see people with ADD/ADHD, Fibromyalgia, Migraines, and many other things that are often caused by allergy. This is easy to fix! Email me if you want a little help figuring out the exact reason (free).......It's easy to find out. Best Regards, Terye

Josh,
Congratulations on the book! Your grandmother's story needs to be shared. Thank you!
Kate

Josh, I love how you treat your grandmother with such respect. It is such a joy to watch you and your grandmother together. She is a real treasure, as are you. You are such a good grandson!!! You are such an awesome Realtor, you totally rock.

Josh,

Thank you so much for documenting your grandmother's history. It is so difficult for historians to get first hand accounts of female history. Your grandmother seems like an extraordinary woman and it such a huge thing that you will have her history recorded. I look forward to your book and her account of her life.

~ Ashley

Josh - your mother is so beautiful - she's so young looking

JOSH - Just saw the episode with you down on the farm - that was TOO MUCH - TOO SOON - you pulled it off very well - thus once again proving yourself the best agent on this show - GREAT - or should we all say BRAVO MR. FLAGG

You are a great business man ( even when you are wearing your sweats lol) Having grandparents myself that have survived WW2 it brought me great joy to see you take that trip with your grandmother. It was my plan to do the same with mine but unfortunatly, she passed before we were able to do so. It warms my heart to see you and her together and that you had the chance to take that trip of a lifetime with her...I must say that she is my favorite on the show, so wise.

As a 33 year veteran of real estate you inspire me. I started when I was very young and have set all kinds of records. You are my kind of Realtor--doing whatever it takes to get the job done as long as it's legal. You have great instincts and the right to be confident. But threatening Chad's little dog---hasn't it suffered enough by having to hang out with him. Leave the dog alone. It's not a fair fight. Besides, all you have to do is muss up his hair and he'll be preoccupied for an hour or so.

I love that you are taking your grandmother's history seriously and want to write her story. You should be very proud of yourself. You are really evolving into a wonderful young man who is not one dimensional like Chad.

josh you are adorable!!!!! I would love to go out with you if you like older ladies. You have your head on your shoulders and you have morals and values and I am glad you put chad in his place

hugs

Josh,
You are so entertaining. I think you and Madison are great though you are more interesting than he is. I love your expressions and the your recent listings. You are not afraid to tackle anything. Keep giving Chad a bad time; it makes me laugh. You maybe full of yourself, which is funny, but Chad is strange.

Hi Josh,

I am still amazed that in this market you can negotiate such deals and get the prices that you've been targeting! You've got the skills then... but you and Chad together are hilarious!!!
And your Grandmother is great, you can learn a lot from her...But you can't make all the money in the world, you got to also enjoy the life while you are young!

Good luck!

Josh, you are the much needed comic relief especially after Chad's segments that leave a person feeling weirded out ?! but you really must learn to control yourself around him. I know he is annoying but don't threaten that sweet dog. LOL I love your grandmother and am looking forward to reading the book.

Hi JOSH-
Please listen to your body and if you think you're not 100% then by all means keep checking...I had the exact same thing and I went to all the "so-called" great doctors on the upper east side here in Manhattan and I was told it was stress; depression blah blah blah...finally I found a doctor who takes on cases and he researches individuals...he fixed me. I don't want to tell what he found because I don't want to scare you...but take care of yourself and it's not always in a pill bottle.

Oh sorry, I wrote a comment earlier and didn't realize that the book is already out. I will definitely get my copy. Can't wait to read it. Thank you Josh for entertaining us all. I love watching you on the show. Kisses.

Love you Josh!!! You were my favorite from the beginning. There is just something about you that screams confidence and hotness!!! I can't wait for the book to come out. I will definitely be getting my copy. When it does, I would love to find out how to get your signature in the book. Stay grounded because it works for you. Love your grandmother. Tell her I say hi and that she is beautiful!!!!

Josh -- You're the man! I love watching you and your grandmother. My goal in life is to get to her age and still have my wit, as she does. She's a damn good golfer too and you should take tips. But your negotiation skills are quick and gutsy. Whatever else is going on inside your head during a sell is a hard read. I'm taking lessons from you. Don't do the meds -- find a gym and work out your energy to regain you memory. You're cute!

Hello Josh,
After watching today's show and your trip with your grandmother to Holland, I had to write you. Not only is your grandmother an amazing & extremely interesting woman, you have inherited many of her qualities. You are one cool cucumber when dealing with the mega dollar crowd. So much more fun to watch you with your clients. Got a good laugh when you asked the woman agent who wanted to partner with you and after negotiating your percentage, you asked her what she was wearing. What a hoot! I had to laugh out loud at that one! Hey, if I was just a tad younger, I'd be after you in a NY minute, but ahhhh...such is life. You stay true to yourself and I'm looking forward to more of your escapades. Also looking forward to reading your book. You're a star, Josh. :)

Josh, I saw such a loving side of you with your Grandmother. She is an amazing strong lady. I cried as she spoke about being hungry. You have changed my opinion of you. Take care of Sweet Grandmother & also your mother is beautiful.. Good luck on all your ventures.

FOR REAL about Dr. Sam!!!! That guy is a hottie. What's his story? Bring him back on.

You and Madison are fun. Chad...eh.

Josh Flagg overwhelmed - IMPOSSIBLE - no meds needed - dude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if it ain't broke don't fix it, m'dear.

I think you're fine and dandy and if I had some sweet property to sell in LA (already did that.. in Laurel Cyn) You'd be my dude.

I don't believe that ADD is always bad. I heard from a Dr once that the ADDs were probably the best hunters in tribal days of yore.. and you IZ definately a hunter, young man!

Go forth and conquer!

Josh, You are exceptional! Please take your mothers advice and take the medication. I've noticed on the show how you are becoming easily overwhelmed. I am crazy about you and Madison, not so much Chad. Take care of yourself.

Josh,
You are my favorite on the show, along with Madison. Love when you hang out with your grandmother - something that we see all too often on tv these days. Who is Dr. Sam? - boy, he can drill in my mouth all day long!!!!

Josh, I am getting my public library here in boca raton to buy a copy of your book. (I can't buy a copy yet.) I love watching you and your grandmother on the show; I can't believe how young you are! You are too cute. Much continued success to you!

JOSH I JUST LOVE YOU AND THE WAY YOU HANDLE MR TOO MUCH FOR HIMSELF CHAD..I LOVE WHEN YOU SHUT HIM DOWN AND YOU DO YOUR JOB AND YOU KNOW YOUR GREAT AT IT.SO YOU DON'T BRAG AND KNOCK DOWN OTHERS LIKE HIM YOUR #1

Josh: You are hilarious! I love your creativity, wicked sense of humor, and warm heart. A fabulous combination. Thanks for the laughs.

josh, i love how you are so sweet to your grandmother, ordered your book. you are a natural in sales. enjoy watching your creative marketing ideas and you are the only one who truly looks out for your client instead of your commission. I admire your laid back style, but you also know when to tell it like it is, which takes guts. don't ever doubt yourself, you will go far in life, you're great just the way you are.

Yes, I'm totally a fan of yours!! You have just the right personality for the show and then a warm heart as well. You should come to Charlotte, NC one day!

The only reason I enjoy watching MDL is to see what you are going to do and to see how you do it differently from the rest.

You are very funny and I envy the confidence you exhibit. You can close a deal and have fun with it and make it look like a piece of cake. The other guys stress too much. I love your laid back approach.

I just recently turned 23 and I am very close to reaching for my goal to become a realtor.

Thank you for being you. You truly know how to close a deal and make the client believe in you.

Thanks to you and Madison for not being afraid to be out. I hope I come to terms with my own sexuality as well.

Keep up the entertainment!! I loved your shorter hair this season!

Josh,
I cried when your mother kept telling you to get on meds. That was me 15 years ago. With a lot of help from a Naturopathic Doctor, Acupuncturist and Enviromental M.D., I take no meds and feel great. I was tested for food allergies(celiac, which was positive) and heavy metals(also positive).I spent about 1 year "getting it together". Lots of people care about your health and we want you to live as long as your grandmother.Feel free to ask me any questions.

Josh,

Your "Collingwood" negotiation was incredible !!

- Pulled-over on the side of the road - On the cliffs' edge;
- Throwing $$ Multi-Million Dollar Numbers $$ back & forth at each other;
- Car windows constantly rolling up & down;
- $1.3 Million apart from each other at $6.5 Million & $5.2 Million, respectively;
- Sealed at $6 Million.

You successfully increased the counter-offer by $800,000 for your client.

COLLINGWOOD was SPECTACULAR !!

.

Josh I think you know the business the most. You are great at what you do and I really enjoy watching you this season. Keep up the good work and say Hello to your wonderful grandmother.

You're a smart business man. Congratulations on your show! Excellent. I would like to meet you. Let me know when you're coming to Miami, FL.

Josh you're the BEST!!! Stay true to who you are.

Chad..just a suggestion..don't lower yourself to making fun or "teasing" the other guys in order to make yourself more interesting..it doesn't work..

Josh -- You have such a cool demeanor, particularly when you are "talking expensively" to that Chad!! Anyway, I am so excited about your book and I am going to head to Barnes and Noble tomorrow and pick myself up a copy!! You remind me of my relationship with my grandmother. She was born in the late 1890's and lived a rather meager life, but the stories she would tell me as a child were wonderful. I've often thought about writing them down and perhaps publishing them myself. Maybe, with you as a mentor, I will do just that. Thanks again!!! LOL

Take care -- Keith.

Josh...I totally adore you! You have great business sense and great at what you do. Love you work ethic...and I think its super cute that you hang out with your grandma. What a great idea to write a book about her life.

Cheers!

Hey Josh...I just saw the epidsode about you going to the doctor and it broke my heart to see that you have had to be on medication for so long! Just wanted to give you some other data that would be worthwile to check out instead of medicating yourself....you can check out cchr.org. It great data that shows you the truth about those drugs that are presceibed for ADD and things of that nature. Just want to help you out if I can and see you living your life to the fullest off of meds that you don't really want to take anyeways! You success truely amazes me! I love watching your show! Good luck with all of your future deals!

So.. first i would like to say is that the first time i seen the show on bravo i thought it was cool that someone on the show had the same name as me.. I also wanted to say that i was impressed with how you handled yourself and how confident you also seemed to be as well.. Secondly i would like to say i seen a showed that aired on 1=23=09 and i was sad to say it all seemed to have disappeared.. i just wanted to say that what had ever changed you should stop it and go back to what had worked.. its just funny your mom say the same thing my mom does" here take this you'll be all better" and i also dont want to take my meds and havent for the last year.. anyways.. keep your head up and get that money.. your the one who makes the show...

Josh-

You are the man! You are my favorite on the show and I adore your grandmother!!! I look forward to reading your book about her story. I love how you stick by your guns when it comes to deals. If I ever move to LA I will look you up to help in buying property.

you are the smartest & funniest guy on the show. but the cutest is your grandma, she is too cute, no wonder you love her so much.
