Bravotv.com: First, how do you think this season will be different than the last?
It’s like the perfect storm — new gorgeous sets, new judges, and host. It's the first time having an international group competing as well.
Bravotv.com: What do you think about the rest of the judges/mentor?
Orlando Peta is a legend in my book. His inspirational runway looks have influenced the hair world for years. My dear friend Jonathan Antin is the yin to my yang. Camilla has brought a new fresh exciting energy and she is gorgeous as a person.
Bravotv.com: What do you think the key was to doing well in the Elimination Challenge? Was is just about covering the boobs?
This challenge was about total freedom. Its rare, in a fashion show , that the hair can also share a story. So this is real life, boys and girls.
Bravotv.com: Which looks stood out to you for better or for worse?
Well I did say 'It looked like she chewed off her umbilical cord and it still looked like there was afterbirth left.'
Bravotv.com: Why did you choose who you did to win?
In a fashion show, it's all about the fashion and the hair has to complement it.
Bravotv.com: Why did you choose who you did to lose? Some viewers are probably going to want to know why Adee wasn’t sent home.
Adee wasn’t sent home because sometimes pushing the envelope and stepping out of bounds can be a part of the process of being creative.
Bravotv.com: After seeing the stylists’ first go at a challenge, where were your expectations set for the rest of the season?
A Mommie Dearest quote says it best: “Hold on — it's going to be a bumpy ride.”
Bravotv.com: How is producing runway-ready hair different than any other type of job?
Because it deals with pressure, time, creativity, sustainability, and usually a diva designer who expects you to read his/her mind.
Bravotv.com: After seeing things on the screener that you didn’t know happened at the time, what surprised you the most?
After being filmed for so long, you forget the cameras are there and I have no filter.
I think Camila has an accent like last years mentor rene fris. I miss Jacklyn Smith and Orlando seems totally qualified but just not as exciting as Rene. But it's still a good show.
Actually, the line is: "Fasten your seatbelts... its going to be a bumpy night", and yes it is from the film ALL ABOUT EVE.
I wasn't all that impressed with the Camilla. She might be "gorgeous as a person", but she's difficult to understand, and it seems like she lost control of the show a few times. Hope she gets better.
Happy to see you back on the show, Kim! ;-)
Kim, I have a natural long hair. Now I see some gray coming up in the front. I need a big transformation, but I am afraid of coloring my hair. I hate hair with two colors, for me everyone who colors their hair will end up with two different hair color. What should I do? Wait until I get more gray to color my hair?
That quote is from "All About Eve." Camilla is virtually unintelligible. Where the heck is Jaclyn? I am very disappointed and will now find something else to do with my Wednesday evenings.
Glad to see a new host. Jaclyn Smith is a lovely lady, but I found her dull. I think it was time for a change.
Wow, a lot of changes this year! I am excited to see what is to come. I do miss Ms Smith but I am also excited to see what the new hostess brings to the show. There are so many different personalities and huge egos this year in the contestants all I could think was 1/3 are like Tabatha, 1/3 are like Tyson and the rest seem to be in their own world!!
WELL I WAS NOT IMPRESSED. BEING A HAIRDRESSER MY SELF I WAS DISSAPOINTED. IN THE FIRST PLACE THE HOSTE WAS HORRIBLE SHE WAS SO FACE AND LOOKED LIKE BOTOXS CITY. SHE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. THEY HAVE TALENT BUT NEED TO SHOW IT WAS NOT IMPRESSED. THE OTHER SESSONS WAS BETTER YOUR FALLING OFF COME ON NOW YOU CAN DO BETTER. AND THAT ONE WOMAN IN THAT ORANGE HAIR WHAT IS SHE LOOKS LIKE A FOOL. OK LETS SEE SOME HAIR SKILLS PEOPLE. THAT IS WHAT THIS SHOW IS ABOUT RIGHT?
why on earth did you change hosts...camilla is NO replacement for Jacklyn. absolutely dull, no voice inflection or personality...get someone who has actually had TV experience. the rest of the show is strong, but the host is ruining it for me...it is seriously painful. dont do this again!
can't stand camilla.....extrememlly annoying an unarticulate......they need someone else....I can just dvr and fast forward when she talks so it doesn't really matter much
Love Kim Vo, can't stand Jonathan Antin. Tried to watch his reality series-he was rude, conceited and unconcerned with the lives of his staff. How is he going to help guide the careers of the stylists? Kim is my absolutely favorite judge to watch and listen to.
Definetly missing Jaclyn Smith, Camila Alves doesn't really convince me, she looks like she is always angry and even when she is talking to the contestants, i don't feel she is that nice to them, maybe just add someone to compliment her.
Hi, i think Camila is very beautiful, but its really hard to understand what shes saying, her accent is very thick. Jaclyn was perfect and she was very believable. Camila isnt that convincing.

What was Bravo thinking?!? Where is Jacklyn?? You are going to lose so many viewers--including me. This show only comes on once a year and I look forward to it so much--how disappointing. Really, really disappointing.
