Kathryn Dennis’ Brand New Patio Décor Is Simply Sublime
The Southern Charm mama gussied up her outdoor space.
Like most parents in the world right now, Kathryn Dennis is self-quarantined in her home… and likely feeling a bit antsy. The Southern Charm mom of two is channeling that energy straight into exterior design, though, and to say we are here for it would be an understatement.
During a home décor shopping spree at Gwynn's recently, Kathryn revealed that she was “redoing” her house and patio, and clearly she’s been hard at work. In two photos posted to her Instagram Stories, Kathryn showed off her al fresco design flare, which is in the same vein that we’ve seen before — full of personality, color, and leopard print.
“Patio Progress Phase 1,” she captioned an image of an outdoor seating nook on her patio. Anchored by a tall rattan sitting chair, the area is flanked by a leopard print ottoman, a glass side table, and a whole lot of plants. We love how Kathryn styled her greenery, working with different varieties of plants and staggering their heights throughout the space: Some are towering, others are teeny.
In a second image captioned, “#quarantinedmom pollen is fallin,” Kathryn showed off a pretty, coral-hued ceramic side table, topped with an arrangement of succulents housed in a pretty, white pot.
