Madison LeCroy Reveals Her "MVP Snack" & We're Intrigued
Although "people keep talking" about one specific food from Trader Joe's, the Southern Charm hairstylist is fixated on a very different one.
Madison LeCroy has revealed her favorite snack food from Trader Joe's — but it's not the one that many other shoppers clammer for. In an April 4 Instagram Story, the Southern Charm hairstylist called the grocery chain's chili-and-lime-flavored Rolled Corn Tortilla Chips "the real MVP snack."
In full, Madison's caption read: "You people keep talking about dumplings from [Trader Joe's] but this is the real MVP snack." The photo showed a bag of her preferred chips, as well as a fizzy pairing: In one purple-manicured hand, Madison clutched a can of Diet Coke.
In case you're curious about Madison's go-to chips, here's what we found out from our sleuthing on Trader Joe's website. (We turn over every stone when it comes to snacking.)The chips are shaped like little scrolls and are reportedly extra crispy. Made of stone-ground corn masa, they are also gluten-free. The flavor, according to the brand, is spicy and zesty. And, what's more, they are the "perfect shape for dipping."
As for the dumplings Madison referenced in her caption, she could be pointing to the Trader Joe's soup dumplings, which recently went viral on TikTok. The dumplings look delicious, too, but Madison's photo makes a strong case for the chips.
Madison is not the first Bravolebrity to call out her love for Trader Joe's. In the past, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave opened up about her love for the brand's lentils. She even shared a tip on how to use them.
"My go-to thing, it sounds crazy, but they’re the pre-packaged lentils that are in the fresh food aisle [at Trader Joe's]," Teddi once told BravoTV.com. "Because lentils is one of my favorite go-to lunches. I throw it in with arugula, chopped tomatoes, a little bit of olive oil, and some balsamic vinegar and it’s delicious, filling, and I can take it on the go. And it still tastes good if you have it in a Tupperware and have to travel with it!'"
The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Gina Kirschenheiter has also spilled some tea on what she buys at Trader Joe's.
She once told BravoTV.com that her kids are "obsessed" with the store's linguine with clam sauce, and eats plenty of its already-made hard-boiled eggs.
And in a 2019 Instagram post, Gina showed photo of her grocery cart, which was filled to the brim with bags. caption. "True life: I love [Trader Joe's]," she wrote.
