Paige DeSorbo and Hannah Berner Explain How to Pull Off the No-Pants Trend for NYE

Paige DeSorbo and Hannah Berner want to help you get ready for the New Year.

More specifically, the Summer House besties-turned-podcast hosts are ready to help you get dressed for New Year's Eve. The duo talked to E! News about fashion, personal taste, and how to make a "no pants" look your own for the last night of 2023. That's not all, of course — the duo also spoke to how their unique approaches to getting dressed tend to influence their holiday picks and shared their New Year's Eve plans to get out there and celebrate. 

For the always fashion-forward Paige, "Whatever I want to wear that day [reflects] my mood and my personality," so she's all about dressing intuitively — without shying away from of-the-moment looks.

"I'm loving the no-pants trend," she told E!, adding that if your plans are especially "New Year's Eve-ish" this year and "you're drinking champagne," a glam take on trend is "the perfect outfit." Think sparkling miniskirts, structured cocktail dresses, blazers as dresses, and generally anything that will let you flaunt your legs for the night.

Her Giggly Squad podcast co-host, Hannah, is more focused on color these days. Whereas bestie Paige is known for her enviably endless closets, Hannah joked, "If I have too many options, I confuse myself." For Hannah, feeling comfortable means: "[Finding] a couple things that work," that she can feel confident about wearing on a daily basis. 

Hannah noted that these days, she's "really liking the red" trend, and even recently discovered that she's feeling knee-high boots as well. "I was like, okay, I don't have to put together a whole look," Hannah said of her revelation, "I just wear a knee-high boot with... a little red, and that's my 'fit!"

If you're hesitant to try on a bold new color or ditch the pants in the name of fashion, Hannah also has some words of advice.

"[There's] no pressure to do what you normally do" when it comes to New Year's Eve, explained the comedian, adding that that you can always "get a new 'fit and celebrate the end of the year in style, however you want."
