Kyle Richards Reveals if She and Mauricio Umansky Have Plans to Get a Divorce

The RHOBH cast member also shared an update on their sometimes-"awkward" living situation.

By Shannon Raphael

Kyle Richards confirmed that she had separated from her husband of 27 years, Mauricio Umansky, during an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on October 25. Less than two months later, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills O.G. is now setting the record straight on whether the two have plans to formally divorce at this time.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Peacock and the Bravo App.

During a recent conversation with The Messenger, Kyle offered an update on her separation from the real estate broker, and she shared more details about what their living situation looks like today.

Are Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky getting a divorce?

Though Kyle and Mauricio, who share daughters Alexia, Sophia, and Portia together (Kyle is also a mom to Farrah Brittany Aldjufrie), are separated, they do not currently have plans to divorce.

"I just bumped into somebody in the lobby at the Peninsula [Hotel], and they said, 'It must be hard with a separation and divorce,'" Kyle told The Messenger. "I said, 'Not divorced.'"

Kyle recognizes that the twosome could be headed towards the legal dissolution of their marriage, but they are not there yet.

"We haven't spoken about [divorce] yet," she continued. "No, that has not come up yet. Obviously, we know that it is potentially something that could happen with us. We just haven't gone that route yet."

Do Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky still live together?

While Kyle noted to The Messenger that it can be "awkward" at times, she does reside in the same home as Mauricio.

Three of their daughters, Portia, Alexia, and Sophia, also live at the Encino home

"We both very much live at home in the same house, and we're fortunate enough that my home can fit us all to spread out. And I'm also very fortunate that we get along, and care about each other very much and that we are a family no matter what," The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Season 1 cast member said. "That's always been what we stand for. That has not changed, and, obviously, some days are not as great as others. Some days it's like, 'Oh, it's a little awkward today.' And other days, it's like nothing ever happened, and we're just all watching TV as a family."

As Kyle herself concluded, "We're taking it a day at a time."
