Goodbye, Countess! Luann de Lesseps Has a Brand New Title

This #RHONY lady will be "Queen D'Agostino" after her New Year's Eve nuptials.

By Laura Rosenfeld

Luann de Lesseps has always been the Countess, even after she and husband Count Alexandre de Lesseps split in 2009. But once Luann marries Thomas D'Agostino Jr. on New Year's Eve, she will lose that title.

Luckily, Luann won't be without her peerage for long. Wendy Williams bestowed a new title upon The Real Housewives of New York City mom during her talk show on Wednesday, because you can apparently purchase such things on the Internet these days. From henceforth, the Countess will now be known as Lady Luann, and she has her very own five-by-five-foot plot of land in England with her name on it.

While she seemed to be amused by the gesture, Luann only cares about one title these days. "I'm gonna be busy being Queen D'Agostino," she told Wendy. "That's what I'm gonna be. The Queen Bee."

Luann said that she will "of course" be taking Tom's last name after they tie the knot. "I like it. I'll still be Mrs. D.," she said.

Long live Mrs. D.!

Find out how Luann acquired her title in the first place, below.
