Craig Conover Reveals He Was Friends with Metul Shah Before Naomie Olindo Started Dating Him
The Southern Charm pillow designer shared what he thinks of his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend.
As we know, Craig Conover and Naomie Olindo broke up in 2017, and on the Season 6 premiere of Southern Charm, we were introduced to Naomie's new boyfriend, Metul Shah. Metul is an anesthesiology resident, which means he can't be out late often, causing him to miss out on certain events, like the dinner party at Patricia Altschul's. Still, we got to learn a lot bit about him when he and Naomie worked out at the gym together.
"I have a new boyfriend and I'm just happy as a clam," Naomie said on the season premiere. "Metul is one of the smartest people I know. He's nice, he's hot, he's cool, he's fun, he's got abs, and he likes me back, which is wild."
But what does her ex-boyfriend have to say about her new relationship? On Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Craig shared what he thinks of Metul — and revealed a previously-unknown fact about their relationship in the process.
"We were friends actually before; not like close friends but we knew each other," Craig shared. "It was cool. Our problems were always me versus Naomie; he didn't come in to the picture until after those fights were over. So I actually like the guy a lot and have nothing against him; he's a cool dude."
So it seems like things are good between Naomie's past and present loves — at least for now.
