Gizelle Bryant Says "The Rumors Are True," But We'll Let Her Explain
The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member opens up about an incident that left her with an injury.
The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member Gizelle Bryant might be ready to heat up the small screen this summer when Season 6 premieres, but as she recently shared, her foot injury is "making my hot girl summer be delayed."
"Yes, the rumors are true... I broke my toe in three places!" she said in the video update, above, noting that it was her big toe that was broken at the time. She added that "it hurts, yes it does."
If you need the full story about how it happened, we suggest you press play on the video, above, as Gizelle shared all the details on the incident that led to the injury.
Of course, for anyone who follows Gizelle on Instagram, they are aware of her broken toe. She first posted about it several months ago when her foot was still in a boot. "Broke my toe in three places. My new shoe is not sexy. #BigPain," she shared at the time.
Later, Gizelle revealed how her daughters were helping her through her injury. "I’ve been needing a pedicure for a while but have been scared to get one because my broken toe is still healing. Adore told me she would be gentle and paint my toes," Gizelle wrote alongside a video on Instagram. "Love my girls," she added.
Gizelle was still in her boot when she appeared in the July 2021 issue of InStyle with the RHOP cast as they modeled the Ugg x Telfar collaboration. "TELFAR!!! I’m screaming! This was everything," she reflected on the experience on Instagram. "Thank you so much and THANK YOU [InStyle]. THANK YOU for putting up with my broken toe."
Since then, however, it looks like the boot has come off. So perhaps, Gizelle's plans for a hot girl summer are back on track.
And don't forget that RHOP Season 6 kicks off with a supersized 75-minute premiere episode on Sunday, July 11 at 8/7c. Want more RHOP? Catch up on the Bravo app.
