How to Avoid Being Manterrupted at Work

Here's how to make sure your voice is always heard loud and clear.

The Guide to Manterrupting

If you're a woman, you've probably been manterrupted before, whether you've heard of that term or not. It seems that men sometimes have a tendency to interrupt a woman when she's speaking to voice their own opinions instead, and that, ladies and gentlemen, is what we call manterrupting.

Everyone just wants to make sure their voices are heard, but how do women do so when it often seems like half the population is making it impossible to do so? Luckily, we have a panel of comedians and TV personalities (both male and female) to help us out. Inspired by the return of Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce, we sought guidance on what exactly manterrupting is and how women can avoid it. You'll even get some tips on what to do when it does happen, which includes keeping your cool, and when that doesn't work, breaking a Champagne glass to get your point across.

Check out the clip above, and don't miss the premiere of Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce on December 1 at 10/9c.
